Just wanted to know whether its possible to do Rentas Interbank transfer online? If possible, can you tell which banks? Thanks

RENTAS and normal interbank fund transfer are different.

RENTAS is more expensive!

Rentas costs from RM7 to RM14.

Last time EON Bank used to have this facility which allows u to transfer IMMEDIATELY at RM1 or RM2, I forgot exactly. Now under HLB, no more.

Thanks guys. So it means all banks offer both rentas and giro transfers from online banking facilities. I remember reading somewhere on the forums that rentas can only be done over the counter. Thats why asked here to reconfirm

you would be better off calling the bank. I doubt rentas cant be done with normal internet banking like GIRO. Or at least I don't see them available with my ocbc/standard chartered/rhb/maybank online accounts.

RENTAS do at counter. Cost more, but is the fastest inter-local-bank. Transfer before 12pm, recipient can get same day. After 12pm, morning next day.

I tried at 11am, 2-3pm already received. Inter-local-bank.

CIMB has instant online fund transfer only cost RM 2.00.. works like Rentas.. funds instantly transferred real time. Even faster than over the counter Rentas

But it's good, instantaneous.

Yeah that's giro transfer with limits. Rentals doesn't have a limit but it seems it needs to be done only at the branch

Actually, there is a maximum limit for Rentas too but i forgot what's the amount already.

anyone knows if someone sent funds via RENTAS service before cut off time, when it will be credited into beneficiary bank account.

Rentas is for large value payments, min 10k, real time trf

not really real time. I tried before that the provider sent before 3pm cut off time and only be credited few hours later.
