I manage to get a reply from for my issue regarding aging. Only 2 days later did I get a reply, but they did mention they are working on it and expect a patch next week.

Wanted to get umobile UMI18- but I guess UMI28 would be fine if I can get 15% bonus pre-paid top up for switching carrier. Valid for 6 months

Each $100 top up is valid for 300days. So I can top up $400 over the 6 months to get $460. $28 per month, I can use for 16months more or less.

If can downgrade to UMI18 within the first month by canceling. Total cost would drop dramatically. Top up $260 to get $299 good for 16 months of $18per month

Only diff is by scaling - UMI28 is worth more bang for the buck - 500mb, 100minute talk. 30 sms.

UMI18 250mb, 25minute talk, 25sms.

Both gets throttled to 64kbps when FUP is up on the cap.

Question: Does both prepaid plan get the same underutilized minutes/sms carry over or UMI 28 have more carry over? Could prove useful for people with varied calling utilization.

Or just simply cancel after first month and go back to non-data plan.

Interesting thing is it is coming out on 11 Jan 2013 - This Friday.

Apparently, garage sellers selling at $699 is very competitive for a pre-launch item. Direct conversion from $249 USD @3.18 to almost RM$791. So rrp by Nokia Malaysia at $799 seems to be only a slight rounding error still a decent price of a meal.(for poorfags like me)

9 hr + talk time is good enough right? Is that considered to be a small battery?

If the price is right *USD250, the user base could be there. Plus not too much dissing when the device is not at the top tier pricing *500. Though arguably the direct competition is probably a Nexus 4 at USD300. My slight inclination at the moment to any of the OS ecosystem is as follow.

iOS - damn this has to be the coolest - should last a couple generation
Android - this has to be the most *free/subsidized - should last a couple of generation
WP8 - this one got extended life or not. <since the current phone I have, I kept it for 7 years already>


Yes, but after my napkin math, if get the latest release Lumia 620, after 200 rebate = $599RM = still cheaper GS as well as cheaper then get nexus 4 from US - direct conversion of about $950RM*without include shipping.
I previously though rrp of Nokia's Lumia is bloated but it seems I was wrong. Looking at say Samsung's SIII rrp for eg... compared to other country... so much higher. But this $250USD convert to $791RM seems like a good deal.

620 memory can be expanded.\
nexus 4 cannot be expanded.
