QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Jan 3 2013, 06:55 PM) Hmm, my income is freelance and below the tax bracket. So no EPF and no tax... so I leave both blank? Got one time, a job I did apply for a EPF account, but did not work long enough to get deposit in it. Should I just go to the EPF center and print out using my IC number? |

Moar then this 200rm saving. But still it will be a upfront 900bucks... what to do ... gov should have just given muar 200cash. |

QUOTE(David900924 @ Jan 5 2013, 09:44 AM) Luckily i register at 6am 1st january, my friend register at 10am on 1st jan until now everyday still cant successfully register. Kesian lah. I tried to register early morning as well, but got the aging bug, or I would have done it already.Anyway SenQ fb said that the 200 rebate can use only any smartphone. Contract free and free sim starter pack from umobile Can I take installment plan with rebate together? Wanted to get umobile UMI18- but I guess UMI28 would be fine if I can get 15% bonus pre-paid top up for switching carrier. Valid for 6 months Each $100 top up is valid for 300days. So I can top up $400 over the 6 months to get $460. $28 per month, I can use for 16months more or less. If can downgrade to UMI18 within the first month by canceling. Total cost would drop dramatically. Top up $260 to get $299 good for 16 months of $18per month Only diff is by scaling - UMI28 is worth more bang for the buck - 500mb, 100minute talk. 30 sms. UMI18 250mb, 25minute talk, 25sms. Both gets throttled to 64kbps when FUP is up on the cap. Question: Does both prepaid plan get the same underutilized minutes/sms carry over or UMI 28 have more carry over? Could prove useful for people with varied calling utilization. Or just simply cancel after first month and go back to non-data plan. |

Is there a Ninetology black pearl's xda page?
I assume since not a big name brand that it is unlikely the root/custom rom scene is well developed? |

Ninetology black pearl, designed where and made where?
Since the start of this pkb, quite a lot of people recommend it. I am wavering a bit. So just exploring only. If your a Ninetology sales person... hammer your persuasion. I will try to read. |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Jan 8 2013, 08:08 AM) I ain't no Ninetology sales person la Before the lifted option $500 phones. I guess only 2 recommendation, Black Pearl and Tipo. Now I was reading numerous threads/FB posts about the Ninetology being made by ZTE, but I can't never find which ZTE model did Ninetology rebadged (doesn't that what CSL does as well?). That being said, the Ninetology Stealth II is made by Plum. Also know as the Plum Might -> http://www.gsmarena.com/plum_might-4768.php btw, Ninetology is the official distributor for ZTE in Malaysia. Go figure. I guess still got limit. Anything below $900. *I am still thinking about asking a bro to buy Nexus 4 for 299usd.<stock is very hard to come by though and he will be leaving US in 1 month> |

Now got CES, lots of new phones being announced. Will the current batch of phones including SIII - drop in price in the coming months??
If yes, could holding off now score a better phone later and cheaper price? I guess for people who are using it as another backup phone maybe can wait a bit? If anything, sign up only after 1million claims completed? |

Wah, if Lumia 620 really comes in at 699 then minus 200 to 499 is pretty good.
edit: pff Went to check Nokia facebook. Malaysia RRP is indeed 799. Interesting thing is it is coming out on 11 Jan 2013 - This Friday. Apparently, garage sellers selling at $699 is very competitive for a pre-launch item. Direct conversion from $249 USD @3.18 to almost RM$791. So rrp by Nokia Malaysia at $799 seems to be only a slight I would seriously consider the Lumia 620. Spec as follows. " Nokia Lumia 620 specifications: Display: 3.8-inch touchscreen, TFT WVGA 800×480, ClearBlack Operating System: Windows Phone 8 Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1 Ghz dual-core CPUs Memory: 512MB RAM, 8GB built-in memory (Micro SD support up to 64GB), 7GB free Microsoft SkyDrive storage Camera: Main- 5MP Autofocus, LED flash, Front-facing camera- VGA Connectivity: Quad GSM/3G, HSPA(D-21Mbps, U-5.76Mbps), GPS, NFC, WiFi Battery: 1300 mAh, Maximum 2G talk time- 14.6 h, Maximum 3G standby time- 330 h, Maximum 3G talk time- 9.9 h, Music playback time- 61 h Dimension: Height: 115.4 mm, Width: 61.1 mm, Thickness: 11.0 mm, Weight: 127 g The Nokia Lumia 620 will be available in a range of colors including, lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black. " Only Black , white and yellow available in Malaysia during launch. I would grab a magenta if available... yellow is probably fine. But safest color is probably still Black or white. QUOTE(uDean @ Jan 10 2013, 08:25 AM) 9 hr + talk time is good enough right? Is that considered to be a small battery?QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Jan 10 2013, 09:25 AM) If the price is right *USD250, the user base could be there. Plus not too much dissing when the device is not at the top tier pricing *500. Though arguably the direct competition is probably a Nexus 4 at USD300. My slight inclination at the moment to any of the OS ecosystem is as follow.iOS - damn this has to be the coolest - should last a couple generation Android - this has to be the most *free/subsidized - should last a couple of generation WP8 - this one got extended life or not. <since the current phone I have, I kept it for 7 years already> QUOTE(beederbest @ Jan 10 2013, 09:38 AM) Yes, but after my napkin math, if get the latest release Lumia 620, after 200 rebate = $599RM = still cheaper GS as well as cheaper then get nexus 4 from US - direct conversion of about $950RM*without include shipping.I previously though rrp of Nokia's Lumia is bloated but it seems I was wrong. Looking at say Samsung's SIII rrp for eg... compared to other country... so much higher. But this $250USD convert to $791RM seems like a good deal. 620 memory can be expanded.\ nexus 4 cannot be expanded. *Good thing someone mention Lumia 620 releasing. I guess after waiting 7 yrs to get a newer phone, I can wait a bit more. Any other good recommendation from the Android faction? Now if Umobile puts Lumia 620 as one of its list of phone for 200 rebate pakej komunikasi belia This post has been edited by skywardsword: Jan 10 2013, 10:07 AM |
