you must have an idea, and money too. If you don't have money, you have to know how and where to borrow it. Then you better equip yourself with some business knowledge, or find a gf/wife who graduated from management to help u out.

Frankly if you haven't tried to set up a business before, don't borrow from loan first. Gain experience first and start from small.

Very subjective though, depending on what kind of business.

research research research...that's the only word you got when you do a biz....it's different ways when you apply it on different industry.....

first...know to write business plan...if you are really good at business plan...you can easily identify your opportunity

second....approach talks about grant if you are in IP (intellectual property)..other sector...u need 2 find investor...how? convince him/her wit biz plan? how? reseach on biz plan....

after the first 2 steps...you will realize your path aheads you

People told me, if you do have a good business plan, you can look for the Dato Datos and propose your business plan to them and see if they want to 'sponsor' you or not. Of course, they are looking towards to the profit as well. Make sure you get well-prepared before you send your proposal to them.

Anyway, i'm planning to start a business on fashion industry by May. See if anyone interested to work together?

must really do intensive research. must evaluate the SWOT analysis before proceeding to the bank or any sponsor

watch out man... alot of 'hidden' crocodiles out there... once saw ur proposal... they could come up something without your involvement at all. be wise all the time... especially in KL.

yup... make sure u have enuf fundings for the business... 1 shot make it big... make sure u have the biggest slice of the market cake...

else the big companies just copy ur idea... and they will wallap ur business....

u order 1000 stock, they order 1,000,000 stock...

u terus die on the spot.
