My PS3 lately can't read the original blueray games properly. When i insert the disc, it makes some funny noise like tik tik tik tik.......and ends with a loud TAKETAK! No disc icon is display on the TV. What i do next is eject and put in , eject and put in, eject and put in many times and eventually (always successful) will be able to load. how many times before it is successful varies. between twice and 12 times.

why? any ideas how i can resolve this?

But once it read no problem for hours until I off and on again. Maybe the bracket holding the disc is out of position when it's not spinning the disc. I afraid if send to shop they just would simply say lens error and charge Me a bomb.
