Hello All, im new here, sweat.gif i need a comfort, not noisy and durable tyre for my Honda city, My 2012 honda city is currently using 16inc stock rim and im planning to replace it with 17inc 7 and 8 jj. I need some advise on which brand of tyre suits the best. budget is no limit. if can please state what is the suitable tyre width and tire profile also. and yeah, the negative effect on changing to rim 17 on my city also. Thanks for viewing and lending me your time . :-)

Changing from the 16" to 17" will sacrifice comfort & tyre gets more noisy due to increase width of the rubbers. Furthermore, your alignment will get misalign more frequent on a 17" wheel.

I believe the current 16" wheel with Continental tyres should be good enough.

forget on changing 17" then as you get thinner tire profile which means less comfort and more noise.
get yokohama advan db as that's among the best comfort/low NVH tires, just expensive as that is yokohama's flagship tire. you did mention budget no limit.

also there is a tire thread sub section. already requested mods to move

You will clearly lose a lot of comfort when changing to 17". The Touran with 16" is comfortable. With 17" it kills you.

If you want better comfort change to 14 or 15".
