anyone knows what is the price for ipad mini at sen heng?

Just bought mine at SenHeng yesterday. it's a little trick purchasing from them. Basically, the price of the iPad mini is exactly the same standard price sold at Machines. Only difference is that they will ask you to purchase together their own extended product warranty which cost around 200++. If you refuse, you may either choose a package of added accessories worth $200 (casing+screen protector). They won't allow you to buy the device only, although they try not to be direct about that.
The only reason why I chose SenHeng is because they have a lot of branches and their stocks are a little more than Machines or any other authorized Apple dealer. Another reason is because only SenHeng/SenQ that offers up to 24 months installment for selected CC (up to 36 month for RHB). Any other place like Machines and Switch stores only offers up to 12 months.
So, if you insist on SenHeng, what you can try is to request add-on for screen protector only. E.g. My iPad mini is 16gb wifi only model. The device price is $999, CC one time charge is $85 plus $20 for processing, and $109 for screen protector add-on package (there's two SP inside). Yes, it's a bloody expensive SP, but compare paying $109 to get an iPad mini for installments with other cash-only or paid-in-full transaction, I think it's a fair deal.

so what is the total price? including all the packages
*
$999 + $85 + $20 + $109 = $1213
This is the 16gb wifi only model, paying using CC.

For cash, just deduct the $85 and $20.

1 more thing, if u join member u get additional 1 yr warranty, for your info i bought my mini when it was launch in msia without any add ons( cuz i knw the branch boss /also earliest to get) biggrin.gif

Yes, I am a PlusOne member and they did mention about the added 1 yr warranty. In my honest opinion, warranty for Apple product is bullshyt. Just a slight dent and it will void your warranty. By a year or so, if you survive any minor drop, your inside will have some water marks and they'll claim that the device has been exposed by water, which will automatically void the warranty. Its just not worth it.

Yes, I know the only reason they add these unnecessary charges is to earn more commission and profit because the fact is, Apple product gives the least commission to the sellers. The profit is not even 1%. So unless I know someone inside, its still the best alternative to just get the cheapest add on package for ios device there. Of course if I have the cash, I'd rather get it straight from Apple store itself.

i think i want to buy ipad mini..but can any1 suggest the best prepaid plan for ipad mini..i'm not always away..so i dont think i need the 3g 24/7..i just need the 3g to check emails and a light surfing when i'm not in wifi coverage..500mb or 1gb quota is enough for a month??

Then I'd suggest try using hotlink. Its been decent usage for me. Of course I haven't tried the other telco except for digi, so not sure which is the best. Problem with digi is coverage is limited and can only get 3g speed around town.

I just realized my iPad Mini can't fully charged to 100%. It just stuck at 89% the whole night.

Anybody else have this problem?
