Just wonder, do IPOD support chinese character filename, title and album title?
It will show chinese traditional and simplified version? In other words, it is unicode?

Yes , Yes , Yes...It does support Chinese Character Filenames , no problems

P.S - If you iTunes could read , your iPod could read it as well..If it shows 'garbage' in iTunes , then it will be the same in iPod

Sony Bean? What in the world is that?

Btw, the iPod supports both types of Chinese characters (simplified and traditional)... Just follow these simple steps: Settings (at main menu) > Language > Pick your choice!
