Not to burst anyones bubble, but drawing skills are indeed needed for GD. Please dont jump to conclusions that GD only use the PC to draw. Before we hit on screen alot of times we have to approve our ideas by rought sketches to proper sketches that are coloured. So drawing is indeed a plus skill, after all in the future if your boss ask you to sketch something quickly are you going to head over to the PC and show him a demo that would take 15 - 20 mins while a rough sketch takes 1 - 2 minutes? Graphic Designers are people who communicate through our design and through our ideas, if you cannot do the simple thing of sketching 1 idea to show to a client or your teacher how can they approve it for you to hit on screen. Drawing skills is indeed needed for GD and is very relevant, you should take up drawing classes (and by that I dont mean the manga drawing skills that are useless in GD), or buy books. But I would advise you to go for drawing classes as the teacher will be able to guide you. have a read at my blog about GD and for GD at-point-zero@blogspot.comCheers. here is just a short process of what graphic student usually should do.
design brief -> understand the brief and find solutions for the problem -> brainstorm -> research -> thumbnail sketches -> rough sketches -> approval of sketches and concept and theme -> hit on screen -> recording of design process -> presentation.

Maybe you can give us reasons why you like mass com and Graphic Design other than that you have a mere interest in it.
Mass com advertising is inclusive of alot of writing on copywriting, etc .. do you really have an interest in this?
Drawing skill is a big plus for graphic design and I would strongly recommend you learn some drawing skills. I've have friends who had no drawing skills or few drawing skills who suffer when working because they are unable to draw sketches well and in any agency you always start with pen on paper then on screen.
Why are you so scared of drawing? We arent all talented illustrators but at least can illustrate and draw out our ideas which is why you need it. Somore nowadays graphic designers dont just do prints, we are able to multi-task.
You might have intelligent conceptual work but who can see how you visualise it if you cannot even draw it roughly on a paper?

No offence but if your picking Mass Communication because the job scope is larger that doesnt gurantee you anything as well. From what I've read so far you are slightly confused about this courses here and like everyone has already said do more extensive research. What you select to study will be what you will be working as on the rest of your life.
And besides you shouldnt choose a mass communication for the mere reason of a larger job scope. Also your interest is all over the place, you need to have a focus, already you like Graphic Design, Multimedia, Mass Communication and Business and Marketing. Which are you really passionate about?
Graphic Design programe alone has the following:
-Design Consultants -Advertising Designers -Web Designers -Graphic Designers -DTP Artist -2D Animators -Cartoonist -Art Director -Publication & Book Designers -Packaging Designers -Set & Display Designers -Illustrators -Photographers -Typographers
Whatever you select as your course I would really advise in being very honest to yourself, in knowing your own capacity and what you want to do.
Good luck in your choice.
