i insert recovery disc (disc 1 of 2) into my external dvd drive,

You start off to reformat your tablet by inserting the System Disc first.

To access BIOS, you can also tap the Settings charm > Change PC settings > General. Under "Advanced startup", tap Restart now. The "Choose an option" screen displays. Tap Turn off your PC."
Once your PC is turn off, press Windows key + Power button until Acer screen shows up, then release it immediately.

In BIOS, disable Secure boot and change boot priority to DVD USB Drive. Save and exit.

Next, put your System Disc, then follow on-screen instruction which requires you to change disc to Recovery Disc 1 , 2, etc along the way.

Sen Q Digital and Courts Mammoth price for p3 i5 is 2399 excluding warranty. With 4 years warranty is 2600+ wth. Rip off or what.

It is the same. You should have all the disc needed to perform recovery.

I went to Thundermatch lowyat to play with the two P3s - the i3 and Pentium versions (RM1999 & RM1799 respectively) both come with Bluetooth keyboard/casing

I don't see the so called 701 with 3G. No sd card reader is a deal breaker. full size USB3.0 is awesome. I simply will NOT get a windows tablet without full size USB!

and if I am not mistaken. the P3 models at Thundermatch has SD card support.

omg acer launch this W701 Iconia in Malaysia and take my money already!!!

everything that you find in W700 you find here. It has 3G and Scard support and better intel processor and graphic!

anybody with p3 suffering from ghosting (or burn in?) on monitor?

if i switch over to gray bg can see the preview screen slowly fading away.
