Ok peeps. Managed to negotiate the following:

IF fast delivery, 2-3 days, 2500.
If slow delivery, 3-5 days, 2400.

Note: above is from date of order

Will require a deposit of 20% to ensure that I have your full commitment as I am placing the orders on credit.

I have no track record of sales but I want a set at the cheapest price and others on the forum and in KL are clearly ripping us off. Only decent price I've seen so far is from thenoobone.

If need be we can meet face to face. I can only give you my word for now.

Not 100% at the moment but that is something they are working on. If successful, it would be the killer feature along with all the Bb goodies.

Here is a update:

what do they mean by exclusive? Does it mean it's only for maxis members or we need to change the Maxis?

Quote shit if we need to change service provider.

Will phone be locked only to maxis network?

At Saudi Arabia Z10 is 3g version..On Blackberry Malaysia website it stated that it is 3g ready..

There are 4 different versions of the Z10. STL100- 1 / 2 / 3 / 4

Source: GSMArena.com - Z10 Page

All Versions work on 2G Network: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
STL100-1 works on the following 3G Networks: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100

STL100-2 works on the following 3G Networks: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 also;
STL100-2 works on the following 4G Network: LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2600

STL100-3 works on the following 3G networks: HSDPA 800 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 also
STL100-3 works on the following 4G networks: LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900

STL100-4 works on the following Networks: CDMA 800 / 1900; HSDPA 900 / 2100 and LTE 700 MHz Class 13

So basically:
Version 1 - the worst version you can get. No LTE at all. For countries without LTE at the moment or anytime in the near future so do your best to stay away from this no matter what.
Version 2 - Bingo. The best and only version which supports LTE in Malaysia currently as the frequency in Malaysia is 2600Mhz
Version 3 - LTE but won't work on Malaysian frequency.
Version 4 - Mainly for the USA so no point talking about this.

Basically, you are getting a gadget that has a lifetime of at least about 2 years. LTE will be here at a decent coverage level by that time so you can enjoy your 'investment'!

Here is some funny reading on a thread from the Maxis website on LTE support for the iPhone. Bottom there is none now until Maxis get a compatible LTE frequency

U are fast..I just about to post about this.. tongue.gif iPhone doesn't support the 2600 Mhz band..but there are rumour that 1600 Mhz LTE band will be available in Malaysia..
Anyway..the one that u sell is version 2 right..?

Yes ultraman90. You are correct.

Key details of my sale:
- Version 2 and Malaysia LTE compliant
- 24mth UK warranty. If any minor issues, say repairs within the warranty clause, my UK supplier will refund the cost of the repair to you.
- Best part is, if the phone is totally kaput due to a manufacturing defect, the UK supplier will replace the phone with a new Z10 and send it back FOC. However, you will need to take care of shipping costs to the UK but I've got contacts for that.
- All sets SIRIM approved
- Selling at the lowest price of RM 2,588 on the Malaysian webspace now.
- Above includes shipping and import permit charges.

I will have details of my first 3 successful trades after this weekend. So you all know I'm not a conman.

Yes you are paying a premium of RM400 but that's the price if your itchy hands are keen on the set soon and would like a coverage of 24 months. If I am not mistaken, local AP sets are only 12 months? I believe Brightstar sets are 24mths as well, but is it full LTE compliant?

In addition, you will also get good after sales support via my new site BB10.my and a kick ass awesome friendship for free.

Placing my last order this weekend guys! If you are keen, let me know!

Also, I will have some exciting news on the Q10 which is rumored to launch in Malaysia only in mid-2013 according to this article from Hype (scroll to just about the pictures) so stay tuned for that!

Peace

Probably not. They have got it exclusively so I'd imagine that they want you hooked to their data plans.

Rumors on the Web state that maxis will sell only 3g version but don't quote me on that!

Why still wanna bring in 3G version if Maxis boast of having 4G. Most probably they are just creating some hype but are not really ready yet.

The more I do my research, the more it looks like Maxis (and other Telcos) and BlackBerry Malaysia are ripping us off.

I've checked the whole web space about the technical specifications of the version that will be launched here in Malaysia.

My conclusion is that the Malaysia version of the BlackBerry will not be 4G ready.

Summary
- The BBZ10 has officially launched in these markets - UK, Canada, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, Germany and South Africa.
- Official UK technical specs state that the handset is "4G LTE Ready"
- Official Canadian technical specs state that the handset is "4G LTE Ready"
- Official UAE technical specs state that the handset is "3G Ready - Evidence of only 3G Z10 sets in the Middle East
- Official Singapore site technical specs. state that the handset is "4G LTE Ready"

And finally our beloved Malaysia:
- Official Malaysian technical specs state that that the handset is only.................(drum roll)........"3G Ready"

WTH? Singapore gets it...why the hell can't we?

For the full details and analysis of my work, please visit my site BB10.my. Your comments much appreciated.

As long as it is version 2 of the device it should be fine. 4g in malaysia sits on the 2600 band. Check the label where the serial number is for the version number

Looks like they have simplified their strategy for now. 2 models based on the new OS. Thats all they can afford. If they fail, that will be it.
