Related to this topic, need advice for my brother who is driving a Picanto, with OEM size of 175/50R15

Recently he had to change original rims (same size) when changing tyres due to 2 front rims found dented

I suspect due to the low profile of the OEM size of Goodyear NCT5

Therefore appreciate sifoos recommendation between R14 and R15, with priority of more protection to rim and increase comfort, for next change
