QUOTE(OCMAX @ Dec 30 2012, 10:01 PM) Using wifi update the files are much smaller. It only download what's necessary. That is why you might face problem during reboot because some file that need to be used for newer IOS might has been modify during JB. oh ya, i did notice the size of file.. anyway, during halfway downloading using wifi can i just cancel and plug it into itunes and re-install? will it affect anything?

QUOTE(OCMAX @ Dec 30 2012, 06:44 PM) I think if you really need advice you should list out what kind of step you have tried? or else it is very difficult. 1. is your unit JB 2. do you mind to restore to new IOS? 3. did you try to use another ori USB-30pin cable? 1. yes! 2. I just wanna update to the latest version, not really care about the jailbreak already. 3. I did. but endup useless.

If you stuck at the restore logo that mean you can't use normal DFU mode to restore due to your previous JB. you must go into pwned DFU mode. use redsnow to go into pwned DFU mode, after that open itune. it will go straight to restore.
