hi new SGSIII owner here.

my initial plan was to get myself nexus 4. but due to unforeseeable future (at that moment) i decided to get myself SGSIII and to drop my hope of endless waiting of nexus 4.

so now just meddling with SGSIII and i have interest to flash paranoid android rom on it. really tempting the phablet ui it offers.

my question

1. any feedback on paranaoid android here?

2. i already put some contacts and also snap some pictures using my SGSIII, how do i backup and restore those two after flashing the rom? from what i understand nandroid do a complete backup and will restore EVERYTHING to original state. that just mean i will lose my new rom isnt it?

please advice. thanks

1. if not mistaken nobody use paranoid android as we hate the tablet UI on smartphone

2. for contact sync to gmail, for picture save to microsd

RM89 smile.gif

Thing is that because it's a bumper, the back isn't covered. So when my phone reaches like 40C it becomes warm and uncomfortable sad.gif

Planning to root my phone later and undervolt it smile.gif Any other suggestions?

undervolt? what is that?

i think that is normal for any smartphone that is thin such as s3, basically any electronic gadget will generate heat due to current that flows from continuously in such small circuit board.

you still not root your phone yet? basically thats the very first thing i do once i got my s3
