I just wonder, why most of u all so scare void warranty? If anything just reflash back stock rom and take for warranty lo. Or another case, sudden death means sc also cant check whether ur phone got root or what la.. at the end, warranty stil got lo

I lurked here once for infos, but today, im looking for final advice about my s3. I think it suffered the s3 sudden death. Not sure it had happened in Malaysia. No charging light, no respond to any button or hard reset combination. Anything else to try before i return to maxis for warranty?

Completely stock. So there is nothing else to try, i guess..

Strange no one reply to you yet, the GSIII Sudden Death fix is in the XXELLA kernel (not bootloader) and if you're on custom kernel, Perseus is the first to have the new fix.

Yupe, I myself am not too sure about XXELLA kernel, still unclear from reading the various dev posts... so I flashed perseus kernel earlier today anyway instead while still on stock Msia JB

just flashed it last night and its awesome! but then there bugs with the camera and brightness while no photosphere anyway, anyone noticed that red dot on the galaxy boot screen ?
