i traced the laggy prob for my gallery due to the mem card

it has about 0.5gb free space left, must have been badly fragmented

my question: can i just copy and transfer all my contents from my old card to the new card, and all the apps will still work?

Let android does your phone RAM management.  That's the best.

Is your phone is very laggy? Are you using touch wizz?  Try to avoid it and get a better launcher.
