Yes! It was serious, this was common issue for S III. A lot get dead after usage of 160 to 190 days. Mine also happen around that time.

Added on January 4, 2013, 5:54 pmMine is rooted, this is new notification for Android v4.2.1 which is default notification (quick setting) for LG Nexus 4 as well.

I am rooted and dual boot now:
- 1st ROM - SuperNexus v2.0 which base on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.1 (same as Nexus 4)
- 2nd ROM - WanamLite v5.3 which base on latest Samsung Stock v4.1.2 (UK ROM)
