My s3 drains out so fast. Everyday need to charge.I'm not running task manager. Online omg WiFi say 5 hrs a day. How can I improve battery usage?

true, i agree. but the keyboard lags during the loading of the initial home page of google when i use chrome. dislike that. anyway phone's dead now, waiting for sc to fix.....arghhhh

1. disable wifi, mobile data, gps, sync when not in use.
2. use automatic brightness with lowest adjustment.
3. monitor what apps drains battery the most. settings-->battery

these suggestions are the basics. btw, daily charge is quite normal (i think)..

I also notice that my phone isn't that smooth and fast, quite laggy at times esp when I open the phone calls log, it takes a while to see the names of callers load, instead it's just the phone numbers listed

So sad,my ipad2 is faster... I tot s3 performance better than apple

If your usage only Wifi, no gps and only facebook, check mail + play games. Then ipad should be sufficient for you. Why you want to get S3 at the first place?

1. Ipad battery life is awesome. Can last for at least 2-3 days even you torture it..
2. Apple got more games than Android.
3. Ipad is better on Check mail, bigger screen, bigger keyboard.


"S3 performance better than apple" this statement is depends on user. For novice user, Apple is a better choice.

turn off auto sync lah. log off ur google, google +, fb, instagram, dropbox & other. clear cache for ur browser. better hard reset sure smoother than ur current status.

Common issue on stock ROM as dialer and contacts IF not yet loaded into memory, will take longer to come up.
If it irritates you that much, install other dialers available from Google Play if on stock ROM. Else experiment with other ROMS (you can't do that with apple, can you.....)
