My personal experience with 2 different numbers on iPhone 4 and iPad Mini:
For the first step, to activate the number on iPad Mini (NanoSim), you'll need a NanoSim device capable of receiving SMS (iPad can't, sorry), OR using a NanoSim>MicroSim adapter and put the sim card into your iPhone to receive the activation code The rest of the steps just follow TS instructions. P.S. I borrowed my friend's iPhone 5 for receiving the activation code |
