I used windows version to installed.
1. uninstall the previous Whatsapp on iphone. reinstall and verify. 2. during back up I select backup+doc. 3. install to ipad mini. work like a charm. even I uninstall the Whatsapp on my iphone the Whatsapp on ipad mini works without problem.
