You miss some step... Your whatsapp ipa backup don't have the iPhone password n id yet.
That why when you open the whatsapp in ipad. It show the message... |

Better delete the apps first then install fresh with your phone number. |

Your install the wrong ipa.
Make sure you install the backup whatsapp from iPhone to ipad. Not the original whatsapp from iTunes. Follow the step. |

iPad mini - jb - install whatspad - install whatsapp using ifunbox - done Make sure ur whatsapp is under ur name aka buy from AppStore. Cheers... |
