A supposed Best Buy employee has posted on the Xbox.com forums claiming that MS would be shipping a larger HDD with the Xbox 360 Premium package. Apparently, a 100 GB drive is to ship for the same price. Also, he claims that Best Buy will have a promotion in April with a huge inventory of Xbox 360s. All of this is unconfirmed and seems unlikely, but this would certainly be bad news to those who have already purchased a 360.

Our Microsoft rep contacted our store, and spoke to my supervisor and told him that if we receive any xbox 360 Premiums, to hold them and cannot sell them until the end of March, she stated that the reason for this was because the xbox 360 premiums would be shipped with 100 gigabyte HDDs, instead of the 20 GIG HDDs avalible now, she also said that the 100 gig HDD premiums would sell for the same price of $400. In bestbuys retail weekly i also read that in the beginning of April bestbuy is doing a promotion from April 2nd until April 15th, this promotion has to do with the media department only, they stated that we will have a huge inventory of xbox 360s. 100gb hdd at the same price? whats next free cars with every copy of pgr3 sold?

i think its a possibility, but not now lar. maybe when the ps3 laungh or something. ps3 said they will include a 60gb HDD 2.5" HDD inside every ps3, mandatory. man, 2.5" HDD, blu-ray, bluetooth, etc etc, i cant imagine how much they will price the ps3

Delete some old trailers lar! personally I never download the 720P trailers since.. my TV is only 480P and... it'd take longer and more space anyway

hehehe.... yeah, I think I downloaded nearly all of the 720p trailers plus I ripped several CDs worth of music onto the 360

means MS already got hold of a 60 Gig

can, but you have to open the xb360 HDD casing holder, connect it to SATA port in PC, and use a software (that can be found at xb-scene) to read the HDD. the software is still in BETA stage, so it is not advisable to write data to the HDD using this software, but reading is allright i guess.


or it could be that dev consoles have a bigger HDD.
