Warranty Clarification

Hi guys.. im planning to buy Lenovo Y580... but in market got 2 types..
1 is USA warranty 1 year, 1 is Malaysia warranty 2 year.. i found somewhere say if USA set we cant claim warranty from lenovo service center coz we cant produce receipt of purchase from USA.. is that true? some say USA set is AP set.. this is because USA set cheaper with higher spec.. |

Wouldn't it be better to check with Lenovo Malaysia on this?

ya called them.. unfortunately they edi off work.. oni will open on monday.. coz i tot sat/sun no work wanna go buy laptop...

Lenovo has a service center at Lowyat Plaza right?
Its supposedly open during weekends as well |

o really? argh i so dumb.. went there just now didnt thought of looking for their service center.. will try there... thanks man.. but do you know anything about it?

yup i believe so.. the seller should've asked you to reg for warranty on the spot infront of them
