QUOTE(joytest @ Dec 29 2012, 11:00 PM) I have not tried theming tools, but I think you need some of those APK tools to do it. If it says .xml but has those special chars, it will be better to take a look with a hex editor first. Coz xml has a tag format like hmmm.. thanks for replying... jz tried with systemui from x10 and its working like last time, able to decomplile, edit and compile... <tagname> value </tagname> but when taken from gn2, those symbol appear pulak perhaps its due to jb... nvm... i'll do more research... thanks very much for replying |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 1 2013, 02:12 PM) If I want to flash XXDLL4 v03-rev01, I need to flash for XXDLL4 ROM first? I cannot use it with my XXDLK7 right? how bout try this rom??Er, I think my battery issue is happening again. More than 10% gone in less than an hour. If I want to flash back to stock ROM from monx, what will be the suggested way? Thanks guys. been using it for 3 days and manage to get around 30 to 40% from 7am (100%) until 6pm usage: brightness = auto network WCDMA only data always on browse using dolphin browser approximately 15 min every hour or so until 6pm from 7am till 6pm, watch movie for about 2h to 3h in total gaming for alittle, about 1h to 2h in total so the total screen on is about 5h to 6h using redphill v1.0 with medium UV *highly recommend to install bravia engine if u were to watch movie from gn2. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 1 2013, 02:25 PM) Er, I didn't see your recommendation, which ROM are you referring to? oppsss.. forget to include the link Also how to tweak RedPill v1.0 to medium UV? Sorry I'm still a newbie. [ROM][XXDLL5][29Dec] PhoeniX Rom V2.0 [Fast | Clean| Android 4.1.2 | Amazing] when u flashed the redphil, it will also install stweak just go to the cpu_uv tab and -25 for each frequency from wat i believe, nvr UV too much as it will stress the cpu |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 2 2013, 04:40 PM) I always do wipe clean. Hmm..b4 the drain issue, wat is ur modem version? LK7 or LK6Or do you suggest I flash to XXDLK7 again by wiping the existing off? Then only flash the custom ROM again. Based on my experience, (x10), there are some user confirm that modem are the cause of battery drain.. Bt some ppl also believe that it was due to the auto mode. Or do u remember what u have done(setting) or latest app u install b4 the drain happened? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 2 2013, 06:30 PM) I'm not sure I straight flashed to LK7 when the Polish version was out. yes u can.. im sure u alr know how to flash it. So how now can I flash back to LK6 or what? Auto mode of? The issue actually happens when I started with custom ROM, I think only after I flashed to 4.1.2. I don't recall such issue on the leaked 4.1.2 or official 4.1.1. auto mode of searching for 3g or 2g .. if its due to custom rom, maybe its about their tweak. im alr reach end of my day with 35%, for 11h but only 3h++ screen on. its acceptable for me. but DS for 40 min drain 10% in nt normal even if wifi is on. sure gt service running in background |
