little help about editing xml file..
i was trying to edit the xml file using notepad++ but getting these weird symbol.
any solution??

im trying to edit tw_super_status_bar.xml under \res\layout
hmm.. any program that i can edit it??? last time i gt personalize theme on my x10, of cos not fully build by me but jz edit from those themers from xda for personal use

hmmm.. thanks for replying... jz tried with systemui from x10 and its working like last time, able to decomplile, edit and compile...
but when taken from gn2, those symbol appear pulak
perhaps its due to jb... nvm... i'll do more research... thanks very much for replying

thanks for replying , im nt trying to theme the battery cos i kinda like it as it is.
trying to mod the statusbar.... talking bout uot, used to use it alot during x10 but kinda annoying need to wait.. cos decided to try mod myself using apktool.. done less than 3min

and he's strike out, within 3sec... LOL

damn.. so much poison... alr spend so much with casing and yet still nt satisfy yet

any one piece fan here??

how bout try this rom??
been using it for 3 days and manage to get around 30 to 40% from 7am (100%) until 6pm

usage:
brightness = auto
network WCDMA only
data always on
browse using dolphin browser approximately 15 min every hour or so until 6pm
from 7am till 6pm, watch movie for about 2h to 3h in total
gaming for alittle, about 1h to 2h in total
so the total screen on is about 5h to 6h

using redphill v1.0 with medium UV

*highly recommend to install bravia engine if u were to watch movie from gn2.

when u flashed the redphil, it will also install stweak
just go to the cpu_uv tab and -25 for each frequency
from wat i believe, nvr UV too much as it will stress the cpu

hehe.. no nd cos its the same base for 4.1.2.
i notice that this rom open snote much faster than monx, not sure if jz placebo.. lol

so fast.. it took me around 5h to fin download......
ohya, there's a option for [MOD][25 DEC] Simplistic Framework V3.0.1 *Merry Xmas! Many surpises!* {Now Odex LL4}. u might wan to read abit about it. its pretty useless mod(IMO) unless u want the full version app which u need to donate at least 1.35$ to the developer

lol.. i din fullwipe so din notice the wallpaper... for me, its more smooth and battery friendly.. so its my daily rom for NOW.

Fruitie, still having battery drain?? Hmmm.. Mine unplugged since 7am until nw is 73%. Data on since 7 am, wcma only. 2 day a bit bz so screen on is 1h ++. I

On the other hand, I gt the feeling dupe of kuli alr appear??

On Monday, around this time should be 60+% and on screen 3h+
For me, it's pretty battery friendly since half day alr still have more than 50%

If DS also causing drain, I think u should do a full wipe. Meaning wipe data n internal storage. I jz wipe system b4 flashing to any Rom.

Hmm..b4 the drain issue, wat is ur modem version? LK7 or LK6
Based on my experience, (x10), there are some user confirm that modem are the cause of battery drain.. Bt some ppl also believe that it was due to the auto mode.
Or do u remember what u have done(setting) or latest app u install b4 the drain happened?

yes u can.. im sure u alr know how to flash it. i uploaded the XXDLK6 modem here.. duno where i found it alr..
auto mode of searching for 3g or 2g ..
if its due to custom rom, maybe its about their tweak. im alr reach end of my day with 35%, for 11h but only 3h++ screen on. its acceptable for me.
but DS for 40 min drain 10% in nt normal even if wifi is on. sure gt service running in background
