QUOTE(BlueHeng @ Jan 2 2013, 11:41 PM) My data plan is capable of going up to 42mbps. According the the thread starter's specs it's only 21mbps. Which is it? And guys I'm talking about DC HSPA+ here. nothing to do with the LTE model. I've never seen any of my phones reach above 4mbps on a speed test on Maxis. Even when I'm in KL next to their building

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 3 2013, 12:41 AM) Mine can reach 11Mbps, not full bar. On my modem can reach 21Mbps. Added on January 3, 2013, 12:42 amMaxis has already launched its LTE on new year. Added on January 3, 2013, 12:45 amJust to let you know Maxis' DC-HSPA+ hasn't reached 42Mbps yet. Though some areas like Cyberjaya can get more than 30Mbps. Rare case but it is there. For areas within DC-HSPA+ coverage, if you are really lucky you can get 20Mbps and above. 42Mbps is so far not achievable yet. The more surprising thing is Maxis launched its LTE on New Year and supposedly can reach 65Mbps. huh?? that's extremely fast! I've never seen more than 4mbps... should i complain to maxis?

guys, when i first turned on my note 2, it asked me to register for software update and gave me a list of countries. I stupidly put Malaysia...
just wondering whether if I put United Kingdom or US, would I get software updates faster?
