Correct me if im wrong, but as far as my understanding goes, those prepaid broadband sim cards were meant to be used with the LTE USB modems, as maxis has clearly stated that their LTE services are only restricted to broadband services atm. 

Actually the APN you can use anything..
Even you want to put 1Malaysia also can.
Maxis has no effect. For broadband wise I mean.

Not really clear to me, I mean you can just keep the phone or perhaps the phone detect LTE?

And No dont try to ask me to use search function at the bottom. You can  type "Celcom LTE" it will bring you to the page where the guy ask about it and being slammed to use the search function.

If you ppl can answer similar Rooting and flashing XDA rom over and over again why cant you do the same for other noob question coz not everyone who asking these so called noob questions are having galaxy note 2 in their possession or even stayed up 3-5 in the morning flashing rom.

A lot of people like me, have just ended 12 years contract with telco and about to change new phone. My case i'm waiting for the white one which is out of stock from Celcom Sunway Tunas Muda Penang.

So if the celcom guy call me that they have the white unit in stock, i only will proceed with payment if the unit is 7105 cause i want the LTE function eventhough Penang still dont have LTE cause i can trade-in my Note 1 to them for RM1000.

just moved to note 2 recently...love the phone but just want a few of the functions i found in iphone to be available...

the stock iphone stock app seems to be very nice, i can swap to different page showing news, stock quote or history and so on...is there any equivalent app i can download for my note 2?

Eager to update the firmware to 4.1.2 now, but can't do it in the office, and I can't do OTA, it says the device has been modified.

guys, would you please help me/us to see it out.
currently on 4.1.1, stock rom and perseus 29 kernel with internal memory swap.

can I just connect my phone to kies and update the firmware?

or do I have to do the below:-

1) revert the internal memory swap
2) install back the stock kernel
3) then only update the firmware

is my understanding correct?

if not, can I just update the firmware with stock rom and perseus kernel with internal memory swap on? (I do not have a nandroid backup yet, I intend to create one after this update).

yup, I have cwm. Do you mean I download the 4.1.2 files and update it via ODIN or KIES? or download the whole stock rom the flash it back to original factory setting alike?

If you mean just download the 4.1.2 file, then I can just update it just like that? with my current phone condition of stock rom + perseus kernel? without wiping them off?

Not bad actually. I'm psycho-ing my sister to get this phone when it comes out.

The only bad thing in my book is the battery which is non-user replaceable and only a 2,330mAh one.


Edit: It has a fancy pants battery saving mode. If it does indeed work as promised, then maybe the battery power wont be such an issue
