hi all,

im facing problem to play videos from USB on my Pioneer HU (AVH-X4550DVD). i've converted the video to AVI format but when i try to play, it says that resolution is not supported.

Does anyone here know what is the correct resolution in order to play video on the HU?

Appreciate all the forumers help.

Hi there... you could try convert the Video to size 800 x 480 or 720 x 576 and see if it works. AVI or DIVX format both supported by playing from USB.

Hey bro, I'm a user for AVH-P4350DVD...the max resolution I could get is 720 x 576. Anything higher than that aren't supported...our player only meant to see DVD resolutions and not those 720p or 1080p sadly, also don't put the bitrate so high as till 3000kbps and above for the video...else it will take time to load. Well that's for my case, hope yours have a newer software which loads faster.

any recommend software for converting? can i use dvd disc to play mp4 file on pioneer dvd player?

I use "Any video convertor" sets the resolutions to 480x272, avi(xvid) format...

for videos that has a very low volume, you can use virtualdub to increase the volume to your prefered volume... then convert using the convertor...

Hi all sifu out there, may I know why my pioneer avh-x4550dvd only can play divx video from USB but cannot play mp3 from USB? Play mp3 from dvd is working just cannot play from USB.... Help please...
