hello everybody. just want to ask two things about my 2012 honda city since im a noob about the car 1) when im cruising above 140mph, there will be noise of wind coming in through the aircond. is it normal for the car or i need to check my car if there is any problem since the wind can go in through the aircond system when im at top speed. 2) i just change my stock sport rim to the new one but still 16 inch and change to new Toyo tyres. the problem is now my car is always 'sagat' and hit the fender even on a small bumper. any advice for it since im not planning to change the absorber of the car. am i choosing sport rims with wrong offset or what since im not considering that thing before changing the rims. and anyone of u know what is the original offset for honda city 2012 so that i can find a suitable rims for the car.

QUOTE(winterwish @ Sep 23 2013, 11:00 AM) I use mineral oil. Honestly, no difference from semi. Tried using fully once, not sure if got difference or not, definitely not noticeable so I go back to mineral. is it mineral oil = semi sinc oil

QUOTE(Rhadykall @ Nov 22 2013, 10:26 AM) ehh? been asking here and there all said if use 205 at most is 205/50R16. if 205/55R16 will hit fender. what tire u using now bro? mind sharing pic of how the rim looks like on city? so far so good for the tyre size..my previous rim will hit the fender since the offset is 38..so i change to the advanti rim with offset 40 anf just nice with the tyre size..but surely if u hentam lubang kaw2, it will hit the fender. currently using Toyo Proxes T1 and the tyres is worth the price.. sorry bro, no picture of the rim now since my blackride is at home now..coming to office with motor only. QUOTE(JaysonGoh @ Nov 25 2013, 10:07 AM) 5W40 I pay only around RM140/150 due to got 20% discount, where you service your car at? Did you check and see when they change the engine oil or request for the remaining? Last few weeks when I service my car 20K I straight go to behind and check if they use the correct engine oil and also straight ask the technician put the remaining to my car but left a little bit only. Yours service got any discount? i juz wan to ask...if we change the engine oil at the SC, is it any balance of new oil or they will use it until finish..never request the remaining oil before but planning to do it during the next service...so just to make sure there is remaining oil or they will say the fill up new oil until finish?

QUOTE(Thrust @ Feb 4 2014, 12:29 PM) Install the 2 point upper front strut bar & the 16mm anti-roll bar. With these 2 bars, you will feel improvement in handling and less body roll. thanks bro.. any recommend shop for the installation?? for brand i guess it will be ultra racing or got any better brand.

QUOTE(Thrust @ Feb 4 2014, 03:45 PM) I would say Ultra Racing is the best choice as they offer 1 piece struts (all joints are weldered into 1 piece). You can install them at Yew Exhaust.. Google more for this shop. thanks for ur recommendation.. installed both strut bars and the result is very good... at the accessories shop, the worker recommend me to install throttle controller...any of forumers here install it? just want to know the benefit of it and whether the sport mode can make our city engine overheat or not...

QUOTE(Rhadykall @ Feb 17 2014, 02:02 PM) so far my mileage is around what they expected - 5000km every around 3 months plus they're not that strict (so far if doesn't exceed by 1000km it's okay according to what they answer when i asked) so i'm all good in that department if we exceed the service mileage will it void the warranty? let say i send my car for service at 36,500km instead 35,000km as per service book..

QUOTE(winterwish @ Feb 17 2014, 04:31 PM) Should be fine, they're not that strict unless you exceed like 3,000km. But to be safe just call up your SC and tell them about it. Its hard to follow the book 100%. thanks for the info... going for 40,000km service..according to the srvice schedule, about RM800...

QUOTE(winterwish @ Feb 18 2014, 12:56 PM) Remember to ask them to exclude anything optional (fuel cleaner, windscreen cleaner and all that crap). The RM800 on the website is meant of mineral oil, if you use semi or fully it will cost more obviously. Which SC are you going to send your car to? aircond service is a must or not since i think my aircond still ok..yah,forgot that part..im using fully syn, meaning more cost... so far i send my car to GA Bangi..there has good internet connection, so when waiting for the car i just watch movie online... but i think their service now is not good as for the first few months from their opening..

QUOTE(winterwish @ Feb 18 2014, 10:20 PM) I always skip the air-cond service. Haha. Maybe I'll do it on my next minor service. Doing the air-cond with major service is bloody expensive. GA Bangi? That's my SC as well . Got free coffee/milo, movie room with projector, fast wifi, clean toilet, got RM5 cafe coupon for breakfast too. Have not had any experience with other SC, but definitely better than my previous Suzuki SC. Haha. lol..same SC... ..everytime service there i managed to download latest movie for my collection...internet damn fast...hahaha but last service i request the remaining oil to be put in the car but they did not do it....next service will remind them and if happen again i will make a 'movie' there...

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Feb 20 2014, 12:16 AM) actually i wonder what do you all do with the little remaining oil? not like u can accumulate and then when u get a full 5 litre u use it rite ... for sure not for re-use when accumulate and get full 5 litre... the oil can be use for other purpose beside as a way to ensure that SC use the rite oil as they charge us..in my case is fully syn oil...we never know what oil they use since we do not monitor them when they service our car rite..
