city reali can't drive like vios...
pedal all d way...
if do like dis, town driinge will onli get 10km/L onli...
but highway manage to clock quite gd millage...
around 500km / 30L if cruising around 140km / h...
and i can hardly reach 180km/h with city and that's it...
vios manage to reach 180km/h alot more easier...
and manage to reach 200km/h...
*
push to S mode then you will be able to reach 180 in no time cuz the 4th and 5th gears are long run gears for cruising ... no good for picking up speed.

hi guys, i just wonder something.

what is the insurance that our new car insured?
is it HIP?
if not, how to verify?
*
Make sure you get the HIP card, that's the prove your insurance is under HIP. So far the licensed insurance company for HIP is MSIG, UniAsia, Berjaya Sompo and Tokio Marine. My HIP is under Tokio Marine, all HIP renewal must go through Honda Service Centers. If go direct to the said insurance company will deem your HIP gone and replaced with normal insurance.

may i ask you guys advise?

when using S mode, no matter +/- gear, do you accelerate or decelerate?

i drove manual car previously, and of coz when shift gear, need to pedal on clutch, this S mode just confused me, not sure how to use it properly.

Can you guys please share.

thanks smile.gif
*
you can shift however and whenever you like without lifting your leg from accelerator. The ECU is designed in such a logic that it will shift the gears even the throttle is being pressed.

i believe that my insurance company is MSIG..we were not given option to choose right?

thanks for your info, means next year i must go thru honda service centers to renew my insurance if i would like to keep HIP?
*
yup gotta go thru service center ... cuz many previous owners dunno about that and renewed directly and the HIP is not available. As long HIP, which insurance company also same cuz their support team is from Honda not from the insurance company itself. thumbup.gif

ok my parking sensor problem at below photo it can't be detected at the divider. Anyone one here also facing this situation before? please revert before i go to make a complaint to SC for the coming 5k service. Thanks a lot
*
how low is the divider ? your manual book got mention the sensor radious .. if lower than that such as a divider too low it will never detect de .

The ultrasonic systems have difficulty in detecting inclined surfaces or slightly reflective obstacles such as shrubs and wire mesh fences.

user posted image
The ultrasonic sensors fail to protect the entire length of the bumper and has dead detection points.

Try check if ur sensor is like above, else then can go complaint .. lol

Notice it especially when parking in the mall and there is something act as to stop your car from going further more to keep you in the parking lot, but it din't bother me that much because whatever it can't sense I din't get to hit anything even with my modulo skirting installed  hmm.gif
*
+1 so far never bumped my rear bumper b4 too. So not an issue for me on the rear sensor. Heck the new CRV dont have rear sensor at all lagi .. rclxub.gif

Just wanna ask do you guys normally service in Honda Service Centre or 'outside'?
Sent my car for 20k service and it costs 550 :0
Breakdown:
1xx for semi synthetic engine oil
around 100 for gearbox oil
1xx labour fees
3x + 4x for engine cleaner or something like thar
air con filter...

Is it worth to service in Honda Service Centre?
*
Engine cleaner is optional can ask them to remove it .. aircon filter can buy from here and replace urself also .. its cheaper .. like that then can reduce the cost. if still under warranty then better service in SC first ..

No they said will and to my home.. they never sent.. call d bank officr .. they ask me to call hire purchase dept.. then till now been dealing with them n nvr rcvd...
*
better to go to meet them face to face ..cuz calling they will just rolling the ball to other departments. Hire purchase marketing team should be the one to consult ..I went the the department last time, the staff there directed me to the marketing team, called the PIC infront of the staffs. Then everything settled, no need listen to their promises.

Aiyooo i heard this year on april HM will launch the new hônda city... Our city will looks old oledy, i like the back light 😭

many mixed opinions on the new City. Some prefer current outlook more, means got some value also out going to be 'old' City haha ... but nevertheless do hope Honda Malaysia intro the highest spec with everything in plus that 6 airbags, VSC.. that would be good enough ..
