Honestly, i'm not sure if it's the placebo effect or not.
but i had good experiences using petronas on myvi, wira..and city ..

have not tried caltex, but petron seems on par with shell (which is in my bottom list)

Make sure you get the HIP card, that's the prove your insurance is under HIP. So far the licensed insurance company for HIP is MSIG, UniAsia, Berjaya Sompo and Tokio Marine. My HIP is under Tokio Marine, all HIP renewal must go through Honda Service Centers. If go direct to the said insurance company will deem your HIP gone and replaced with normal insurance.

yup gotta go thru service center ... cuz many previous owners dunno about that and renewed directly and the HIP is not available. As long HIP, which insurance company also same cuz their support team is from Honda not from the insurance company itself. 

Can shift to S from D while driving?

Seldom shift to S mode.
Normally just D all the way.
When overtaking or heel then only shift down a while.

Try Caltex, it shall give you "wow++"

No need to check kaw2, just make sure the chassis number is all identical as in the form, no dent or scratch on the body panel, fuel full tank, interior clean etc etc..

Any further issue you can raise during your first 1k service.

some comments after 2months driving:

a) yes, it's silent, even at times i'm not sure if i've actually started the engine
b) S spec, stock tire goodyear GT3 is relatively noisy, can't wait to change it when it's due
c) As i travel frequently back to my hometown, 20km/l is achievable. my latest drive got me 600km (brim -> low light fuel up) .So far, i find petronas suits my drive best. I'm a driver that practises ECO driving
d) sound proofing is quite good, like many, front passenger glove area has some rattling sound over certain bumps profile
e) AC is a weak on a hot day. even MAX setting coldness takes quite a while to cool down the entire cabin
f) fabric and door panels attracts alot of marks/stain
g) handbrake fitting/quality feels cheap and 'loose'. doesn't give you the impression of well fitted. am I the only one feeling it?

hmm. after i switch from caltex to petronas, i also feel the noise is louder and the power weaker ady.

yeah, the noise after i start car is louder also.
going to go back caltex after this tank finish.

Does any one found that there a "Witttt~~" Sound when you unlock the car?  The sound is not "beep beep" is like "Witttt~" high pitch. I know that is some sort of car unlock sound. Buy why???

I bought my City during Raya. From the 1st week I already notice that sound when I unlock the car. I thought I heard it wrongly.

2nd time I heard it clearly the sound is come out from my car and so coincidently the car owner that parked in front of me open his car door. I thought I might been just heard it wrongly as well.

3rd time in my house I confirm 101% the sound "Wittttt~" is come out from my car when unlock.

And yesterday I heard it again when I unlock the car.

It sound "Wittt~" will come out when unlock only. I didn't install any 3rd party lock system. All is original. The sound didn't come out every time I unlock the car. Is kind of spooky~ Haha...

I will ask Honda about this when 10,000 service. Just to check out does any one have same experience like me.

i heard it before also. bought my car around raya time. Heard is like 4-5 times till this day.

Hi bros. Going for the 1000 KM service this weekend. Any thing I should look out for? Looking under Maintenance at Honda Malaysia site the price will be 20++ and even that is for labor charges which will be free anyway so what do they do for 1000 KM service actually? lol
