195/50/R16 tire on mine.. look funny a bit since the lower 50 profile. Haha.



Don't think you can use 205 with the stock rim, max is 195 only, if you want to go 205, need to find wider rim otherwise the tire will look like donut or might not even fit.

Pretty sure I read somewhere you need to use 205/45 since it might hit the fender when your turn the wheel.. this one I'm not so sure though.

Yoko C drive is fine, but if got budget go with Michelin. I heard its nicer and quieter.

Not sure bout the FL City but pre FL looks ok with 50 profiles though. Below is with 205/50/R16

205 is possible but will protrude abit more out compared to the rims. Some regard this is 'rim' protector lol

ya its a 205 but that is not my ride, i pluck it from other owners. For me, never hit the fender before but i heard that if replaced to aftermarket 16" rims then it would hit the fender cuz the offset.

FC is about the same only previously i get about 400-450km per tank, after changed i get 380-440km per tanks also ...

Bro, i guarantee u, will not hit fender. even fully loaded balik kampung, 5 people in the car on highway, rear fender also won't kena.
45 series will be too thin. speedo will be under.

So far, drove to SG a few times with 5 people in the car. ok la. cause overall, it's almost stock. If you change rim and put 205 then it will depend on the offset. if you still use +45 shouldn't hit. maybe +43 and below might.

bro, if rusted, means damn deep. I know honda clear coat is thin. Depending how bad, might be able to touch up. I think some stockist sell the touch up paint. but, it won't look good to the finish. plus, not to scare u, but the rust can spread if untreated. depending on how the scratch is.

Oo yeke. NVM la stick with Yoko then. lol. I'm using Yoko A drive R1. Cheapo one. Haha. Wonder how the NVH is like with the C drive.

Yeah 195/50.. actually that's the only size they have so no choice. My original tyre pregnant already after hitting pothole so had to change quickly. Pretty sure around RM260 - RM280 or around there per piece.. can't remember.

some shop said can fit 17".. but i'm afraid that it may hit the "daun pisang".. thats why i just take 16" last week.. huhu..
but this is just my point of view.. maybe sifus here have better understanding than me..

Ermm 205/45 interesting, how about the car height? Is it lowered a bit compare to the stock? Or same? Ur absorber n spring are standard rite? 

Btw 205/50 is it ok for our city? Ada kene itu daun pisang/ mud flap ka?

I'm using Silverstone Atlantis V7 205/45 profile tyre.. I agree with u that it improve alot in stability in corner and high cruising speed. no bouncing effect. smooth and no noise.. very satisfied. 

by the way, what tyre are u using now?

So the best is 45 series ek? Hurm yokohama r1 a drive 205/50/16 is it ok? Will npk tebal ke from side view, hehe

i dont remember the exact figure but it around rm238 per piece if i'm not mistaken.. 
my father use the same tyre for his merce.. but he complaint about the noise.. he used continental tyre before.. LoL

i myself would think thats not the gearbox problem, just the design of gearbox is already like that.

thats why wanna check with you all to double confirm
