QUOTE(winterwish @ Apr 16 2013, 01:33 PM) 195/50/R16 tire on mine.. look funny a bit since the lower 50 profile. Haha. Don't think you can use 205 with the stock rim, max is 195 only, if you want to go 205, need to find wider rim otherwise the tire will look like donut or might not even fit. Pretty sure I read somewhere you need to use 205/ 45 since it might hit the fender when your turn the wheel.. this one I'm not so sure though. Yoko C drive is fine, but if got budget go with Michelin. I heard its nicer and quieter. Thanks for the sharing bro... hmm, yalo.. the 50 profile make the gap between quite big. More bumpy than be4 rite? how much diff of the bumpy feel? haha... scare also.

QUOTE(xin @ Apr 17 2013, 12:18 PM) Not sure bout the FL City but pre FL looks ok with 50 profiles though. Below is with 205/50/R16 205 is possible but will protrude abit more out compared to the rims. Some regard this is 'rim' protector lol [attachmentid=3396336] Looks ok o...abit diff with bro winterwish ones, maybe urs is 205? will it hit the fender when u turn the wheel? How much per tank u get after u change to 205/50/R16? Thanks xin...

QUOTE(xin @ Apr 17 2013, 04:35 PM) ya its a 205 but that is not my ride, i pluck it from other owners. For me, never hit the fender before but i heard that if replaced to aftermarket 16" rims then it would hit the fender cuz the offset. FC is about the same only previously i get about 400-450km per tank, after changed i get 380-440km per tanks also ... Thx for the feedback bro. But I asked 2 tyre shop, both of them also told me that cannot use 205/50/R16 tyre. Will hit the fender when turn. Said 205/45/R16 tyre ok but 45 profile too thin edi la. blur ... QUOTE(MoNnY @ Apr 18 2013, 12:59 AM) So far, drove to SG a few times with 5 people in the car. ok la. cause overall, it's almost stock. If you change rim and put 205 then it will depend on the offset. if you still use +45 shouldn't hit. maybe +43 and below might. Skylinegtr34 bro, if rusted, means damn deep. I know honda clear coat is thin. Depending how bad, might be able to touch up. I think some stockist sell the touch up paint. but, it won't look good to the finish. plus, not to scare u, but the rust can spread if untreated. depending on how the scratch is. Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it.

QUOTE(just_call_me_G @ May 1 2013, 12:41 PM) some shop said can fit 17".. but i'm afraid that it may hit the "daun pisang".. thats why i just take 16" last week.. huhu.. but this is just my point of view.. maybe sifus here have better understanding than me.. Haha! I juz changed mine on last weekend also. 16" sport rims + 205/45 profile tyre. Improve a lot the stability in corner n high cruising speed. As for FC, no different so far. Bro, wat tyre n profile u use? This post has been edited by aarex: May 1 2013, 03:04 PM

QUOTE(kobemclouis @ Apr 30 2013, 03:49 PM) first batch of FC city 2012 owner, Tyre almost gone naked and thinking to change a bigger wheels.... Is 17" too loaded for 1.5L city? IMO, 17" is ok for our city juz choose the lighter rims will do. For me, 16" Ngam Ngam for me with 215 tyre.

QUOTE(Issac_aq @ May 1 2013, 09:30 PM) Ermm 205/45 interesting, how about the car height? Is it lowered a bit compare to the stock? Or same? Ur absorber n spring are standard rite? Btw 205/50 is it ok for our city? Ada kene itu daun pisang/ mud flap ka? For me Car height is about the same. absorber n spring ori. Actually I wanted to use 205/50 profile tyre ones, best n won't run much for the car speedometer. Juz 0.2% diff. Due to the tyre I chose no tis 50 profile size, I only use 45.

I agree with u that it improve alot in stability in corner and high cruising speed. no bouncing effect. smooth and no noise.. very satisfied. by the way, what tyre are u using now? Wow! Atlantis V7 good. Using it with my Waja now. I'm using Yokohama A drive R1 on my City now. Not bad but abit noisy. How much per tyre urs?

Will npk tebal ke from side view, hehe For me, I will choose 50 profile but due to lack of 205/50 tyre option. I chose 45 profile instead of 50. 205/50 put on ur ori rims? It will become like donut o. That's y I dun like, changed the rims. haha...

Yup, definitely UR bar is good investment for our City. I installed mine - 4 bars. Front strut bar, front lower bar 2 point & 4 points, and rear anti-roll bar. Your steering will become more stiffer which will gv u better driving feeling, cornering more stable and high speed in highway won't feel much like driving a boat. Btw, if wan better stability feel...best is change ur tyre to wider profile. 175 & 185 is too ...

I changed my Rims juz to fit the 205 profile tyre. Actually 205 tyre can fit with our Ori rims but will look very ugly (Donut look). Aim to change 205/50/R16 tyre but hard to find for Yoko A Drive R1 thn at last pasang 205/45/R16. Abit bumpy but stable... And to my surprised, FC is better than be4.

The best tyre to change is 205/50, the speedo reading wont run much from the actual speed. I think 55 is too thick edi, cant fit and will not look nice. 50 is the best. Next tyre change, I will change to 50. Now 45 abit bumpy. 205/50/R16Speedo Reading: 65 mph (104.61 km/h) Actual Speed: 65.16 mph (104.86 km/h) 205/55/R16Speedo Reading: 65 mph (104.61 km/h) Actual Speed: 67.34 mph (108.38 km/h)
