Start Arreat 1 - Cydea - Azmo - Act 4 - Iskatu - Rakanoth

i prefer:
Breached Keep Quest > Keeps > Ghom > SB > Cydea > Azmo > Iskatu (4 bosses that can drop plans)
spend less time in Act 4, hehe too many powerful mobs there.. mob density in Act 3 also better for xp/legs.

Last night I farmed with this route:

Heart of the Damned -> Tower of the Damned 2 -> Tower of the Damned 1 -> Stonefort -> Keep 3 -> Keep 2 -> Keep 1 -> Arreat 2 -> Tower of the Cursed 1 -> Tower of the Cursed 2 -> Heart of Cursed -> Core of Arreat -> Heart of Sin (Azmodan) -> Act 4 until killed Diablo

My route is Keeps 1 - 3, kill ghom and...repeat

I get probably about the 10-15 per hour for DE.

I got lucky with my Ammy crafting after 12 tries..got a 303 dex, 59% Crit Damage and 9.5% CC. sad no vit/ AR but got 108 Str..lol...9k boost to my existing ammy..

Razorpikes or gloves = all total loss..

ic, from reading other poster and forum, DE rate is around 1 hour = 10 average, dangg....if want to craft in batch of 100, gonna take more/less about 10 hour..ish ish ish....wish there is a faster way to farm these DE

farm DE in MP10

its harder now since VoTa checkpoint is not saved anymore (cannot respawn in VoTa after latest patch).
i'm trying to farm DE in Act 1 and see .. planning to do Cemetery > Festering > Highland Crossing (Cave & Tower)


Each level of Monster Power will increase the drop chance of Demonic Essence from Elites and bosses according to the following values:
MP 0: 15.0000%
MP 1: 16.5000%
MP 2: 18.1500%
MP 3: 19.9650%
MP 4: 21.9615%
MP 5: 24.1577%
MP 6: 26.5734%
MP 7: 29.2308%
MP 8: 32.1538%
MP 9: 35.3692%
MP 10: 38.9061%

For me the sweetspot is mp7-8 .. imo its not efficient to farm in mp10 from DE for just the 6.75% increase in drop rate as compared to mp8 (which can be cleared much faster than mp10)

ermm..around 30% rate means about 1 DE for every 3 elite. Thinking of giving follower a puzzle ring to try and see whether the collection can improve abit with goblin spawning.

Shift click DE, and then start trade. hehe

i see i have better luck on A1... drop rate much better...my personal experience..

Eh, can still farm VOTA la. When u start, u just have to use waypoint back in

Repeat Keep1 (pick 2~3 Elites) > Keep3 (2~3 elites) once reach 5 then go Kill ghom at MP5.

less than 8mins per route and got 2~3 DE per route.
1 hour for sure can get more than 15 DE

Goblin Drop DE as well at high chance.

and i got a plan Razorspike of Vit from Normal Chest.
how can this possible? thought only from Boss?

I am only farming DE. 2 runs 3 DE on MP1 =D

Got the plan for marquise emerald but can't afford to craft it.

1 radiant emerald is 31m, I need 4 of them. That's like total 160m to get 20% more crit dmg.

mornin fellow LYN D3 members,

yesterday before loggin out to sleep, a fren told me if ur intention is purely DE farmin, just repeat "Festering Wood" over and over again at the 2 fixed Elite cave location.

basicly just "tele Fest Wood->kill 2 elite in cave" rinse and repeat (if u can spare time just make a quick round outside the cave for another extra 1-2 elite). haven't had the chance to try it out yet, will give it a run once back from work today.
