All the sifus that r using lumia 920, I wanted to ask hows the battery life of ur lumia? I dunno isit just me or everyone coz mine drains the battery pretty fast ..
Moderate usage of whatsapp and some web browsing on 3G(umobile), the battery lvl drops pretty fast (90% to 60% in like 2~3 hours).. background task, NFC, wifi, email push all off except data and location were left on but it still can drain more than 10% per hour..
I heard Portico updates help but it isn't available in msia yet, has anyone done the update n see improvement on battery life?

Im using a matte black 920 for about a week, so far no problem except battery life is not so good..
Now im trying the discharge and recharge method to let the battery "wear in" and hope I can see some improvement.
Btw lumia 920 rocks icon_rolleyes.gif

Exactly, WP8 should improve the search button on the bottom right screen to searching the whole phone content and internet instead of internet itself (and its bing rclxub.gif )

WP7 had it, prior to Mango (7.5). Pressing the dedicated Search button would bring up a search context. They removed it in Mango because not to many apps support it, which made it confusing for users. Let's hope they put it back along with Search Contract Api for developers, much like Windows 8

Oh didn't know it was once exist in wp7, it would be great if they add this feature back, it makes searching thru contacts, email and apps much easier n faster thumbup.gif

any of you 920s are getting loose power button on your device? mine is working fine n can feel the clicks when I press it but it kinda "sink" a little and feeling a little loose, it feels abit flimsy compare to the volume rocker and camera key

Yeah I noticed that as well, especially people in whatsapp group are spamming when u're on data, the phone can get really hot on the back..
But no choice, have to stick with whatsapp coz most of my contacts are using whatsapp

btw... Any of you experience WP8 as a bit buggy. I've encountered cases where when pushing back button to go to previous opened programs...it'll stuck at the same program. The flipping animation is there but its still in the same program I'm at.
another thing is that the setting sometimes seem to be resetting automatically. It happened to me when setting volume..it'll sometimes go to 20/30. Though previously I've set it to full. And when setting vibrate only..it'll go ring+vibrate automatically.

Did not have the problems u're facing so far, but I have experienced upon launching app and the animations happen but the app doesn't launch, it just flips and then return back to the home page.

I noticed syncing gmail acc drains the battery as well (not too noticeable), so I linked it with my outlook email and get the msg forwarded although its gonna take a while to retrieve the email everytime someone email to my google acc.

Try sending it back to nokia care centre, I heard they have a 1 to 1 exchange policy but sometimes the particular color you request might not be available due to high demand on the market now.
But no harm for calling them to check

I did alot of research and went thru alot of articles in WP8 forums for past few days and have not seen anything like u're experiencing now. Anyway, http://www.nokia.com/my-en/support/care-point-finder

How long have u had the device for? coz for me the 1st few days battery life is really bad.
However after a week+ of discharge and recharge, today it gives impressive battery life.
It went off the charger about 8 and I started using it, about 10~20 phone calls, some text, quite alot of whatsapp (group spam as well), 2 email push (hourly), facebook + twiiter, full on data and I even have NFC on all the time without knowing it, now I just reached home around 4.45 I still have 60% battery life left.
To me, all of that for 40% battery life is pretty amazing
