Confuse to wait for BB10 or just get the L920. Want to stick so hard to bb just because the keypad, if Lumia 920 got keypad. =-)
I don't see much of a future for BB10. Microsoft's overall ecosystem is better.

Notification is not an issue for me. My issue is searching for files on my device. I wish there was universal device search like on iOS.

I also came from an iPhone 4. If you find the Lumia 920 hard to use it's not surprising because many things are different. But I did plenty of research on WP8 before purchasing the Lumia 920 so I have no trouble with the UI.
The main thing I miss from the iPhone 4 is the Spotlight search that can search contacts, SMS and Music all from one search field. |

QUOTE(crest91 @ Jan 6 2013, 03:02 PM) Exactly, WP8 should improve the search button on the bottom right screen to searching the whole phone content and internet instead of internet itself (and its bing It's because of little things like this that I cannot confidently recommend Windows Phone to other smartphone Os users yet. Hope Microsoft fixes more of these issues in the next major update. |

QUOTE(Finned @ Jan 8 2013, 08:17 AM) Already one week I used wp8. I don't know whether I should use android phone yet because Windows phone 8 so beautiful lah. Okay back to playing Dragon Blade and Doom and Destiny. Even though I think my Lumia 920 is a good phone, I don't find WP8 beautiful. It looks better than WP7, but I still think the aesthetics can be improved. Too many hard corners and sharp edges, especially on the home screen. It seems like the WP team purposely avoided any rounded corners at all in the OS. Although normal rectangles can be drawn much faster than rounded rectangles, I think rounded or squircle like those in N9 look more pleasing to the eye. Windows Phone's Metro design was based off signboards, and although they provided clear information - I don't find signboards beautiful enough to be emotionally attached to them. |

Nokia's customer service used to be better. When I sent in my N82 to fix a camera shutter problem few years ago I got it back in a week.
After Elop took over he has been laying off people left and right. I think they have a lack of qualified customer support personnel now. |

I have lost faith in Nokia and Windows Phone. Maybe one day if they can deliver updates on time and the app support was better, I will try them again.

Currently own 920, find it a bit too bulky for my tastes. Maybe the 720 or 8X is enough.

WhatsApp was recently updated for Android but there have been no updates for WP users for 3 months. They're really taking their own sweet time to fix bugs. Next update had better be good. Right now the most annoying issue is that the app just freezes when resuming or loading a chat.
