if want faster locking, on wifi or internet..

b4 u send to nokia, why not try first,
ur home got wifi or not?

sometimes depends on time also,
usually maghrib (7pm) or early morning 3am hard to get satelite,
maybe satelite got many on the other  side of the earth..

try lock at home first, then dont off location,
no problem i think.

satelite is very subjective..
if u try to connect without any online assist, it will take long time,
but still depends on luck.. sometimes i can connect on the spot also.
sometimes i off location,

drive about 3 hours from last locked location (on the Lebuhraya pantai timur)
try re-on location without data,

no luck for me after 20 mins wait,
on data, instant win!
if u go nokia, i scared ppl laugh at u only..
gps rosak only when cannot connect at all..

cant blame nokia for no reception.

that one maybe peroidically saved location from windowsphone, where u can find, ring or lock from the website

I'm trying hard to make a choice here, between 920 and 720 that is. Please enlighten me here people, I'm looking for a phone that can let me use some amount of GPS, some social, make a few calls, light SMSes and last a whole day. 

Best of luck for the team to optimize the apps which probably not likely to be fixed any soon but it's good to see Facebook's breakthrough.

Facebook's latest changes marks one of the big apps that doesn't follow the "metro" guidelines, it sticks with its own design on all platform and slightly inherit the windows phone's UI design which the expert mentioned, app maturity.

Aside that, I really love how Nokia develop apps on this platform, exclusive apps that is.

So the good browser for WP8 is still IE?

Cause when i used it that time visiting lowyat forum using the WP8 IE, the alignment like acting weird.

When I pressed Mobile Phones and PDAs at top there from "Lowyat.NET -> Special Interest -> Mobile Phones and PDAs -> Windows Phone", it doesn't actually press that thing, instead it touched others, lol ... have to like pull down a bit then it will touch.

However, only IE have this problem that I faced.
I want firefox or Chrome, lol...

you can send fb message to your offline friends via the native messaging app. It asks you to 'try text instead' but you can just ignore it and send.

this offline functionality has been around in wp7, it was a background cloud update from Microsoft's side.

Nice, how does it compare to IM+? Or other apps that support similar functionality.

I never really considered using an app for FB Chat because back then push notifications are very unreliable in WP7 (except whatsapp), but WP8 changed the game.
