dear alepadachi, we have decided to respond after being alerted by a loyal client of this post. we would like to apologise if you were not clear with our advice. firstly, as was said you have a very young immature terrapin. you were given broad information about your two terrapins so that you may be able to provide better husbandry for your terrapin. we stock many medication for exotics and you were advised to leave your terrapin as it is with better husbandry hoping that it would heal on its own after the bigger terrapin probably bit the younger one. we are still confident that is the case. since there were no evident bruises you were advised to stay away from medications due to the potential side effects. you were advised to call back in the event things did not improve and that an xray can be done but with limited information due to the very small size and skeletal immaturity. we have seen many tortoises since opening and are one of the few places that would do surgery on reptiles including turtles. hopefully we can be of assistance to you. we are confident your young terrapin will improve once the minimal damage from the bullying heals and when there is more understanding of each terrapin type and its dietary needs are met. just to reiterate, we are available for you to seek more information.
