QUOTE(andrewnib @ Sep 5 2006, 04:12 PM) Dear All, Juz to update the owner of the clinic had changed. Please be noted that there is one vet that i am totally NOT recommended for anyone of you here to go there ...They are over charging ... Ok here what happens .. I went there to check out on the price of removing the dew claw as that day the vet that i used to go already close. I went in and ask this guy whether they do have this kind of service. Then he said yes and it cost RM 70 per pup ... I thought i heard it wrongly . I ask about the price again and he said 'Seven Zero' .. what the heck man ... So i ask him what is so special or any special device they are using as other place might just cost me about RM 15 .. then straight away he said 'Then you go other place lah' ... such a rude manner ... then i surveyed their price tag of other products and it is basically higher than other places ... this vet was situated in Subang Jaya call 'SIM VETERINARY CLINIC' .. the vet name is Sim Ewe Hock or something like that ... |

QUOTE(dya_ungu @ Nov 12 2008, 11:27 AM) wanna ask u guys.... If we were to get a dog, we should know before hand one day they will sick and no matter how much it costs, we need to bring them to a vet.my 4 months old doggy suddently dont want to eat / drink. vomit, her eyes always dirty, sluggish, not cheerful & playful as usual i was worried of her condition, coz so far already 2 dogs died. what happend with them? how to cure? if i bring to clinic estimate how much have to pay? Good news to you is, normally vet charge consultation fee lower than RM50 and many are very much lower or even dont charge consultation fee. If your dog required to do expensive surgery or treatment, the vet will let you know first and you shall decide. Bring to a vet asap, normally early treatment doesnt cost much, and of corse you would want to know what happen to your puppy. Vomitting is not a good sign, quite serious. Refuse to eat & drink make things worst. If your pup not brought to vet and condition worsens, it may be fatal. |

Almost 1 year old is good to neuter. Cost is depends on weight and which vet you go. For a toy breed should cost you around 200+-

QUOTE(misskucen @ Jun 2 2012, 07:51 AM) I hv a cat n never bring her to any vet b4? Should i bring her for checkups cz i think she has fleas Never bring to vet means never vaccinate also? In my opinion, it is best to vaccinate your cat./bedbugs. Do cats caused bedbugs. Been bitten by bedbugs all over my body after i adopt her. Should i go to the vet or pet groomer to clean her up? ;/ Thx!! |

QUOTE(SmokeyMcNasty @ Nov 12 2013, 04:58 PM) Looking for a good vet in either the kepong or sri petaling area. Must know what they are doing and not be overly expensive. Need to take new dog just fr a routine check-up and looking for a lifetime dr for her. All opinions are welcome. You can try Sacret Heart at Kepong, the vet is very nice. |
