I rarely come in here and now it is V.XLIV??!?! Walau eh..... So banyak.

Anyways, recently i upgraded my B-line 2009 persona rear drums to rear.

Donor: Lancer ck4. Comes with trailing arm and the brake set.

Transplanted parts: Rotors, calipers, brake hoses and handbrake cables.

New parts replacement: A set of brake pads from Trestor Metallic Plus. And DIY sanding and respray the calipers and rotors to make it look new again.

Result: Braking is so much better (really a lot better). Now i have more confidence while driving fast.

I saw red a blog on this conversion before, seems like the rear drum break isn't reliable har?

BIG P.O.S - Piece of shit. Lacks braking power even after my upgraded front brake pads. Now brakes way better and more confidence.

No need to do inspection?

Why lancer mia brakes instead of grabbing Persona H-line mia rear disc brakes?

No need inspection as there was no structural change, no change / transplant of the suspension parts. Basically its just a "swap" or bolt on work only. Everything bolts on directly from the donor perfectly.

Why Lancer? Ok this is based on readily available or not. If you can source a used / reconditioned Gen 2 or Persona H Line rear brakes, then ok... good cuz like the original. If not, buy new parts to fit but it will be very costly. Or get a used Lancer ck4 model like mine and direct bolt on job (remove the drums and handbrake cables and swap with the donor). FYI, Lancer ck4's version, the rotors, caliper and brake pad is smaller than gen 2 and Persona H Line's. No issues though. Works wonders. Loving it!!!
