What do you do when waiting for viva?, sooooo bored...

say you finish your masters/phd project, finish writing your thesis all that's left is waiting for viva, which you have no idea when, may take up to few months
after all those days of hard work, suddenly feel completely free and lost. cant apply for job yet since havent get the cert.
so what did you guys do when waiting? part time job?

Continue your experiment and publish more papers, that's what I'm doing haha, good for the resume Otherwise, go and have a long vacation~ You deserved it

as research assistant, work wif ur supervisor on other project, get pay. apply for job, attend interview. u can always tell ur potential employer tat u have finish.ur master/PhD project, wait for viva n can start work immediately.

If you intend to continue at the institution as a fellow, research assistant, etc, then just work with your supervisor? else go out, look for job. Employers will take in people like you

i guess i'll be teaching while waiting for the viva. It's normally 2 months before they call for a viva-voce.

Start generating papers. Or maybe enrol as a peer reviewer.
