What do you guys mean by base game? As in Single Player you mean? Storyline of the game?

Guys, any idea how to get the Close Quarters assignment weapons? LSAT?
I've managed to unlock the MG36 Back to Karkand guns, but don't know how to unlock Close Quarters weapons, I do have them on my BF3 premium edition, do I filter Close Quarters when searching for games? |
