about AK...i dunno..

will be working as a JUNIOR technician (in MAS), technician...need to work for few years laa
junior tech aka mechanic, technician aka senior mech (dulu2)

the qualification to take LWTR, need to refer DCA
DCA decide whether u can take or not
MAS apprentice, not so sure, i think 3 yrs eligible to take LWTR (if complete all modules)
why different between MAS and TAFE? ask DCA (one of the reason, i think, mas tame got to work with a/c)

salary..starting maybe RM2000 plus ur allowances maybe can get RM4000 per month (for new LAE with 737 type)
real salary depend on OVER TIME (this is how they get 5 digit RM)
but, they are certain LAE who have a basic salary of RM15000 more or less (they already for a lot of yrs in the company and multiple type rating)

salary for junior tech....basic RM1200 plus bla bla u can get RM1700
for technician...at least RM2000 per month (not easy to become technician, u need to be a good kaki tikam + kipas)

kesimpulannya, all jobs start with low salary (especially in MAS)

if u all got big cables...very very big, for sure can get in mas tame after spm
but, now mas only accept diploma holder for tame prog.
for ak, i dunno

wanna ask. how good is the politeknik? what is the job opportunity for politeknik grad in aircraft maintainence diploma? is the diploma recognise by DCA? do MAS accept gad from poli. that's all. tanx in advance.'

ok. how is the study condition? are the lectures good?

btw, how is qualification and accreditation? what is the market value for student from politeknik? are they on the same level as MIAT grads?

that means that after we grad, we have to work for a while before actually getting the license? do DCA n LAN/MQA approved this program?

btw, this is my SPM result. will i be called for politeknik interview? anybody mind sharing their politeknik writing test & interview experience?

B3= LK, TK, EST
B4= Chem
C5= Phy, Add Math

avionics,
they learn more electric n electronic (dunno in detail)

composite,
u gonna learned how to manufacture a panel using fabric (fiberglass, kevlar, carbon) material + honeycomb (metal, can't remember other type)
sometime u'll be allowed to use prepreg, using hotbond process (miat have a small autoclave), very pricy material
u also learn how to repair a damage on composite material
and bla bla,
ur future company might be aerocomposite (ctrm) malacca, composite workshop of MAS, a company located at north of m'sia, forget the name, they manufactured parts for boeing and there's also a company going to be open in subang (ahaha, forget also the name)

employment rate
my batch, around 85-90% got job in aircraft maintenance field after 3 months graduated from miat
5% work in aviation related and a few more continue study at UK for EASA

miat, nilai college, poli
miat during my days, admin sux, instructors are the best
nowadays, i think a lot have been improved, got DCA approval (also quantity increase too... ahahahaha)
nilai and poli, i dunno, both are still new in MTO, so dun expect the best from them

after u grad
certainly u have to work to collect ur work schedule
then take exam at DCA and then take company aprroval
it's a very long way to go

math, physics, eng - that's the most important subject, i think laa
