i asked my fren who is now working with MAS about engineering degree holder (mechanical or aerospace/aeronautical) who wants to become maintenance engineer with MAS

he told me that they can join, but they will have to go study/train for 5 years before they can become one. Is this true ? If it's true, do u get paid while ur studying/training ?
