nak tanya sikit. Misal kata :

Thanks a lot everyone, sorry if i was using BM previously, love to use proper English / National language rather than mixing it up or in another term, 'rojak-ing' it, however does anyone knows the answer on my second question? Thanks a lot! biggrin.gif

Last but not least, let's say if someone is currently an Aircraft Maintainenance engineer, can he later be promoted, as a manager?

QUOTE(azameel @ Oct 17 2010, 03:04 AM)
yes, why not
in fact in mas there is someone who started working there as a cleaner/maintenance assistant (not sure what was the position really is) but slowly climb up and now he is one of the superitendant/manager
in fact a lot of engineering managers started from lae, IMHO they need to have hands on experience on aircraft to manage the company better
if u want to become manager faster, go to those small GA company, since there is not much employee and less competition  biggrin.gif

Thanks azameel and e7471, rclxms.gif

Thanks to everyone else too cause i just finished reading all the 80 pages and because all of you, now i have increased valuable and 'gold' inputs in this field. And yes, I've acknowledged from the earlier pages, about just being a tech before a person can sit for an exam to obtain LWTR from DCA, despite whatever academic qualification he/she has (SPM/Diploma/Degree/PHD etc).My question is ;

*Why do a person wants to take 'Bachelor' of Aircraft Engineering Technology (BAET) if in the end he will still be a tech just like other dip graduates before becoming an LAE?

*Or do BAET graduates do something else besides maintenance engineering when he/she starts working?

*Sorry if this one sounds really noob but,between Technician and Mechanic in AVIATION, which one is on the upper level? Do Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is required to be a mechanic or just SPM? And can a mechanic be an LAE later one , by going through step by step? blush.gif

P/S : Fuhhhhh, 80 pages are a lotttttt dudes i tell you!! sweat.gif
