hi there, need advise on this.

my daughter is 19 and doing her diploma in aerospace electronic. shes graduating next year april but got a job offer as a trainee LAE. yang best nye..start work right away. she will be bonded for 8 yrs. she is doing her 1st month trial.she is happy for getting it because she is already working even before getting her diploma but i am worried coz she is not getting a degree. what do you guys think of her path? ataupun she should take her degree first for future back up.

Your reply is deeply appreciated. Terima kasih. biggrin.gif

i guess its what she wants to do!! whats the guarantee that after finishing her diploma she will get a job/apprenticeship?
there are many out there with the same diploma as yr daughters' but cannot get into the aerospace/maintenance field..
afterall, she can always pursue her degree later part time...

my 2 cents...

Hello there, firstly thanks for taking the time to answer. Really appreciate it. biggrin.gif
Okay, just to let you know, she has already signed an 8year bond with an aerospace company. The first 4 years will be her training and at the end of that 4 years, she'll get her LAE license. And so for the next 4 years of the bond, she'll be working as an LAE. Yeah. thats just to clarify matters. The thing i want to know is, whether she made the right choice of signing that 8year bond OR whether she should've gotten her degree first.
And just to add on, she was offered this bond deal even before she had gotten her diploma so, i was afraid that, if she were to continue her studies and get her degree, she wouldnt get another offer like this anymore so thus my decision to ask her to sign the bond instead of furthering her studies first.
Thanks and look forward to hearing from you again. smile.gif
