i'm from a family that owns a chain of aviation companies and will be glad to help you out and lead you to your career choice.
if you would like to gain experience after acquiring your license i might be able to pull some strings for u
aviation is a wonderful industry to be in. the people you meet are unique. the experience you'll get is invaluable.
also being a maintenance engineer is not all about pipe alligning, static port checking, avionics testing and such
you will have to be willing to endure the hell of which rust-checking holds. sanding the "skins" down to the very last paint with minimal equipment. and the work hours that you may or may not have to undertake.
MAS would be a good start but job oppoturnities in the engineering line wouldn't be as much as there once was
METC <--- an engineering training facility they established are training engineers for their company. and i'm not talking bout 1 or 2. it's almost like school.
all that matters is you get 2 years of experience (do not care much bout the salary it will be enough even if it's 4k)
coz after 2 years it is advisable for you to look for a job in arab. they pay well.. i mean EXTREMELY well and the benefits are wonderful. U.K would also be a good choice.
Seeing how aviation engineers are needed P.R wouldnt be a problem too.
Cheers
