for your information, usually on january intake there will be very less chinese and other non muslim student.. chinese sometimes they only take one or two of them.Total january intake will be approximately 200++ student.. but for july intake more than january which is approximately 400++. other than that,July intake got more chinese and non muslim.

you need to submit all your related documention to MIAT for application.after that you'll receive an offer letter from the campus and interview will be inform after that. BUt for recent news, miat already started entertaining the interview session last few week. so im not sure whether you still can make it for july intake not. why dont you try call to the MIAT administration for inquiry. besides that, for your info MIAT management is suckx so you better hurry... goodluck

Added on April 23, 2009, 11:08 amguys i got one question want to ask. how much they pay you for the type rating is depends on what aircraft u work right ? roughly how much is the allowance we get for working on narrow body aircraft like 737,A320 etc.. allowance will be given for certifying every single aircraft right ?

Hello,

I am currently studying aerospace (aeronautical) engineering degree in University Sains Malaysia Eng Campus. I am in the final year and all of my subjects are only related to research and design of aircrafts. None of the curriculum touches maintenance. May I become a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer after my degree... Of course I need to take maintenance courses first.

Where I can pursue this? How long does it take to become a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer? How much salary/allowance should I get upon my entry to primary stages of maintenance? May I apply to airline companies?

If I enter the Airforce as a graduate officer and then the Airforce Engineering College, could I obtain the maintenance license?

Please help me.......

There shouldn't be a problem, just go through the maintenance courses,
there was a few degree holders joining MAS TAME when I was still with MAS( 6-7year ago),
better still if u apply for technical service engineer, you won't have to go trough all the trainings and courses.
