When I play, I'm not thinking of how pro I must play, I'm actually banking on how noob the enemy is. Need to get that XVM mod soon. Heck, what WOT sea is coming to when a T34 with full hp runs away from my vk3601h with 80% hp. And its one vs one.

KV-1 has many weaknesses, even from the front. The MG port is only when you're in point blank range.

With your L/70, you can be able to penetrate both the upper vertical plate and lower glacis easily. Only the sloped upper glacis will bounce 150 pen. (Not a guarantee either.)

Now I realize that Alecto configuration is tad weird. 3 other crews in front panel while driver in tiny cubicle behind

L/70 is magical sniper gun, high penetration, high accuracy

tat's why i avoid XVM. It's better for the heart....


And the L/70 is a very consistent gun but if you are in melee range, chances are that the KV1 will outlast you

yeah this is the thing.. the gun can penetrate those area but it does very very small dmg each hit. Sometimes i get kv driver that just straight out ignore me and kill others first then turn turret and 1-2 shot me, while i keep doing minimal dmg to it.

last night i got another interesting encounter with kv, i was stalking the road on a narrow opening, i had camonet and paint and was hiding in a bush, heavies on my side was still way behind me then a kv came by along with 1 american tank dont know what model, its those square-ish tall ugly looking tank that has paper thin armor.

so i was thinking if i open fire the kv will just 2hot me so i decided to do the scout thing. it travelso close to me but both didnt seem to realise i was there. i am quite amazed at how well hidden this stugIII can be. then my team finally arrived and the kv was shooting at them, then i finally opened fire at very close range to the view port and it was beautiful. each shot cut his hp by like 30%, was never able to do that much dmg usually.

shit! losing streak yesterday...

when use OP tank like pz4, i can rampage till like 7kills.
then when i use miserable tank like auf panther. all i can do is pray for good mates. lol


yesterday i even rage at noob using me as metal shield. i was able to do pop up and shot like a boss. i know i'm being target by spg because there's a few missed. it wasn't easy to hit me from that spot.
Until a le noob 800 battles using tier 6 LT in a tier 8-9 battles. block me from behind peeking his gun out like i'm a rock. when i was typing "dont block me!", the spg killed me.

Pzr 4 isnt OP .... I sometimes wish they buff him more....he's just too fragile....

ummm, i do think it's good enough because i can do many kills with it almost every match.
But of coz M4 is better, the front slope is nice.

usually i'll kill all the small fries 1st. leaving kv1/churhill for last. i would rather go one big round on the map than facing front.
unless i know the kv1 can be kill then i'll push.

lol...... back to days when pz4 equip with dark vader turret and L70 gun, Kv1 drivers crying a lot as PZ4 always kill them from long range.
now WG move this combination to Pz4S premium tank, so it not going to buff
pz4 now is power when facing with lower tier tank, but against tier 5 tank, that's not sufficient, driver need more skills to dominate this tank.

M4 much better derp tank than Pz4. Due to Depression.

Derp gun + gold > everything else.

where to aim if want to derp and get good damage?

with the penetration value of gold round, simply aim and shot, gold round make players forget about the weak spots
(i did use pz4+ derp gold and hit 300+ damage on tiger)

HE shells dont really need to aim unless got obvious chance like the back or copula.
