i using moshi hard case...
no problem on my phone...
however, last week i visit to lowyat plaza to look for casing,
i notice that those cheap casing has very sharp edge that could scratch your iphone...
i compare to my moshi of cos cost me RM130 for original, the edge is very smooth...
thus my advise....alway go for high quality if you using hard casing.

Bear in mind that any soft jacket will have such issue too as since materials of case are stretchable..

Dust and miscelleneuos will be entering your device from the holes of case and worst still as you don't clean it constantly.. Scratchess everywhere without intention

Been using Black Mercury soft case since day 1. Bought another Black Nillkin soft case for backup. Total cost RM30, including 2 pack of SP. Dropped my iphone 5 on the tar road once, drop from my bed to floor 4-5 times. I cannot find any scratches...^^

You've got a point there bro..
Luckily i'm not a casing kaki, very satisfied with the only 1 that i bought & will try not to open it for as long as i could..

Until sumone invented a vacuum sealed casing, u will still need to remove the casing every now n then to clean it from dust and other tiny particles that can trap in between the cover n the phone, if not those trapped dusts will eventually scratch ur phone im afraid..

Where do you go to " re-liquefy ", how much does it cost each time and how long is the process each time?

The rule of thumb, go for super tight one, loose one tend to collect dust and scratch your iphone(I can never forget swircheasy nude that scratched my ipad, same concept apply here). Before install, please blow away all the dust, also do not uninstall and install all the time to look at the beauty of the back, you never know a small sand creep in without your notice.

Buy the transparent sticker. Trim it to the width of the shinny bezel. Paste it over. Ensure all surface are covered. Then put it into your soft case. Hassle free.
