dear all, just wanna ask, lets say my statement date is on the 12th, the amount in mb2u should be reflected on the 13th right? mine is on the 12th, and it's already 15th, yet the amount is not resetted... still carrying forward.. any idea how many days after only they will reflect the amount of the previous month?

QUOTE(JonnY @ Jan 15 2013, 11:17 AM) The amount in outstanding balance won't be reset until you pay the full amount. There are Outstanding balance and Statement balance under the M2U. The outstanding balance will reduce once you make payment while the statement balance will be updated on the next statement date (i.e. 12th Feb). jonny, but my statement balance is last month's statement balance... haven't update with this month's balance.... how many days after statement date only will they update the statement balance?

Dear all, just wanna double confirm with you all.
My statement date is on the 3rd of every month, from my knowledge, visa transaction takes 2 days to process, while amex takes 1 day to process. For example if i swiped my visa on the 2nd, and my amex on the 3rd, will the amount be reflected on the current statement or next month's statement?
The statement should be updated in mb2u on the 4th. But 2nd i swiped visa, so on the 4th, is already 2 days. Kinda confused

no you dont need to.. make sure you have enough funds, and you can't pay extra funds, as compared to how much you owe.

Sifus, I have got a question on statement balance and interest..
For example, lets say my February statement balance is RM500 in total...
So when comes March, I will need to clear the balance within 20 days so I won't get any interest charged.. However, let's say in the month of March, I swipe 1k, and then only clear 500 (statement balance), will I still be charged interest? Or the 1k is calculated for month of March?
Statement balance (February) = 500 March swipe amount = 1000 Outstanding balance = 500 (Feb) + 1000
After clearing statement balance = 1000 (outstanding balance)
So as long as I clear 500, I won't be charged interest, doesn't matter the amount I swipe in March? Or I must clear ALL the outstanding balance to be exempted from the interest? Cause statement balance doesn't reset even after I pay the balance

So bro miles, even if I swipe another 1k the next month, even if I clear the rm500 after swiping 1k, i wont be charged interest right? Cos sometimes its confusing esp when the statement balance doesnt reset after clearing it

Ronnie, does that mean, i swiped ytday, my statement date is 3rd of every month, so i only get billed on the last effective day of my billing cycle?
So this month's EPP charge will be billed on 3rd of april as well?

dear all, my statement date is on the 3rd (today), which means by tomorrow, i will get the statement balance updated for last month... however, i have a EPP scheme going on, however it's not reflected on my balance or statement today yet...
does it get reflected tomorrow when the balance updates? or normally on the last day of the statement date itself?

QUOTE(fuadfadz @ Apr 6 2013, 01:49 PM) I want to apply mbb 2 card. Working for 3 month already. My first month only 16xx (minus epf) due to i start working on the 11th of the month. My other 2 month salary is 27xx (minus epf). Can apply? it depends if you have strong financial support/backing, and helps if you have existing savings/FD with maybank.. i used my 1 month pay slip to apply, nothing else... i have a FD 50k+ with maybank, got approved 1 hour later and got the card straight

Sifus, i would like to ask bout cash advance. If I were to withdraw 300, then they will charge 5% as fees. However, I heard that once i use CA, there will be interest imposed everyday. Can anyone clarify and explain to me?

oh okays. cause thought of doing some payment tonite since its quite urgent, and my billing date is on the 3rd, so any purchases/payment made today, if the transaction is posted today, then tmrws statement come out will need to clear this month if the merchant processes it a day later, i can pay next month

cause wanna do bill payment, normally shops close at 10pm, so if i pay around 9.30, also might risk myself clearing the entire bill by this month sometimes very random i would say, if use visa confirm is 2 days later lol.. but amex wise, hard to say
