All,
I want to increase my credit limit for my MB2Cards. I called the CS and I was given 2 forms to be attached with my 3 months salary slip. They are pretty detailed. Is there a link for me to double check I am getting the right form? |

QUOTE(DM3 @ Jan 24 2013, 12:44 PM) im surprised also to use my amex to buy washing machine from a small electrical shop in jb 2 weeks ago. QUOTE(David83 @ Jan 24 2013, 01:16 PM) haha common assumption.i guess either the shop is desperate, or the price is markup price. |

QUOTE(vincentxiang @ Jan 26 2013, 10:12 AM) [attachmentid=3281772] 3. The 15% Cash Back will be credited to the Principal Cardmembers’ card account only, which will be reflected within approximately eight (8) weeks after the Campaign Period (barring any unforeseen circumstances).Does anyone here has received the 15% cash rebate from the above campagn mentioned? or we need to wait till the campagn has ended and how long will we receive that cash rebate? |

QUOTE(hye @ Feb 3 2013, 09:51 AM) Is a fee. This fee is stated in your T&C. Statement will state it as "Card Replacement Fee". for MB, if you have your card lost or stolen, the fee is waived if you can submit a police report to them. Did that before.Card renewal fees is free but for change of card / card lost or stolen, this fee will be imposed. Don't be too quick to bash the bank, other banks have similar practices too like UOB. |

QUOTE(hye @ Feb 3 2013, 11:02 AM) I am aware of this but sometimes one need to be practical. if that is the case, i dont think there is much to do but to pay. but at least for some cases, there is an option for not to pay, provided police report is available. For example, you lost your credit card in China and reported it to the bank upon arriving at the airport in Malaysia. Don't tell me you want to travel back to China to obtain a police report + to ensure the police report is in English ? (Would the police in China even issue a police report in English?) Same goes for most non-speaking countries in this world. |

Like how my brother kena, SKINNYCORP LLC (USD100) and another one is FACEBOOK CREDIT IRELAND (USD25). i can only assume that probably you guys use the same pc that is probably infected with malwares. or you guys have been buying something from the same site that is not doing a good job in keeping confidential info. just guessing.Be alert on the SMS. I've called and cancelled my card. I think it's just a matter of time for those Maybank2Card AMEX holder will be the next victim. |

I was told by CS that all the missing rebates from the 15% rebate will be credited by this coming Monday and should anyone feel after that they still deserve more, then they can appeal for an investigation.

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Apr 25 2013, 07:35 AM) Weekdays spend use Amex card only got the TP x5, but no for rebate. where exactly are you addressing the 1% Amex rebate...Only weekends eligible for 5% rebate plus x5 regardless of any place, as long as your Amex card can be swipe Example: weekdays spend RM1000 which is you will get 5k TP (this is equivalent to 2.5% rebate) Correct me if I'm wrong here there is no such thing as 1% rebate for Amex. only ocbc has 1% rebate. and rebate for both ocbc and Amex is capped at rm50 a month. you won't get rm100. |

QUOTE(aeiou228 @ May 20 2013, 07:44 AM) U r probably the 6th or 7th karmaloop victim in this tread. I wonder how this syndicate obtain Amex card member's details. I think there was a case where that person had never used his AMEX for any online transaction before and yet he was the victim of karmaloop scam. therefore i dont think it's correct to assume by not doing any online transaction, you are safe from the scam.If Amex still not adopting SMS TAC security measure, the fraudulent online transactions will keep happening. To reduce the risk, I would never use Amex for all online transactions which requires keying in credit card details. |
