Is a fee. This fee is stated in your T&C. Statement will state it as "Card Replacement Fee".
Card renewal fees is free but for change of card / card lost or stolen, this fee will be imposed. Don't be too quick to bash the bank, other banks have similar practices too like UOB.

I am aware of this but sometimes one need to be practical.

For example, you lost your credit card in China and reported it to the bank upon arriving at the airport in Malaysia. Don't tell me you want to travel back to China to obtain a police report + to ensure the police report is in English ? (Would the police in China even issue a police report in English?) Same goes for most non-speaking countries in this world.

Be alert on the SMS. I've called and cancelled my card. I think it's just a matter of time for those Maybank2Card AMEX holder will be the next victim.

helped my fren to pay his tnb using amex via m2u...

posting/transaction date is the same when i pay, so there shouldn't be any issue....

however, i have fren reported for unifi, sometimes it got one day delay for the transaction date, anyone experienced that?

Weekdays spend use Amex card only got the TP x5, but no for rebate.

Only weekends eligible for 5% rebate plus x5 regardless of any place, as long as your Amex card can be swipe

Example: weekdays spend RM1000 which is you will get 5k TP (this is equivalent to 2.5% rebate)

U r probably the 6th or 7th karmaloop victim in this tread. I wonder how this syndicate obtain Amex card member's details.
If Amex still not adopting SMS TAC security measure, the fraudulent online transactions will keep happening.

To reduce the risk, I would never use Amex for all online transactions which requires keying in credit card details.
