+1.

I guess they never read my articles or maybe don't understand what I write, hahahaha.
Once again, for those of you who uses Maybank2U to pay your Maybank credit card bills, utilities bills, Local Council Assessments/Taxes and etc, you should look into getting the Maybank2U Savers Account (if you have not) because it earns you interest daily and credited into the account monthly. Click here to read my article My Maybankard Platinum Debit Card for My Maybank Credit Cards.

Bro,

About the Maybank2u Saver Account, is it the one park under 'Maybank One Account Conversion'?

I try to go in, but the note kind of scare me. The note number 2 says: Once conversion is done, the account is not allowed to be convert back to Kawanku Account.

Am I at the right place?

Thanks in advanced.

No. Please do not convert your account.

You can open new M2U Saver account by clicking the Apply Online > Choose Saving account.

Huh...Thanks for your advice! I almost click into it.... sweat.gif

So right after choosing the Maybank2u Savers, I can have the option of transfer in the amount right?

I will do it after 31 Dec, since is going to pay interest on 31 Dec.

Really appreciate your advice, else don't know what is going to happened! notworthy.gif

It seems can operate exactly like normal saving account with ATM, can transfer money & etc without extra charge, right?

So best practice should be, when salary in, transfer all the money to Saver account (since can withdraw from ATM), later use it to pay bills & credit card etc!

So can we leave our saving account almost empty or minimum, and transfer all to Saver account? hmm.gif

In term of customer is really benefit to us, but in term of Bank, why they do so? I can't see the business point of view?
(Sorry, I have no knowledge on this area, that's why asking the opinion here)

I'm not so sure how the daily rest is calculated.  sweat.gif
Yeah. No extra charge for transfer money between own account and other MBB account but for IBG they charge RM2 for the saver whereas normal saving account charge RM0.50 for first 2 transaction.

I always transfer all my salary to the saver and left RM10 in my saving account. Then transfer back to saving account when my M2U saver account is less than RM2k.  laugh.gif

I think the bank still earning from there just like how they earn through the fix deposit. My 2 cents.  tongue.gif

For IBG I also get charge of RM2 for my saving, as my is not Basic Saving Account. So means for me, make no different! blush.gif

FD at least bank will lock us for certain period. This is so flexiable for us. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes. I'm still thinking whether I should close my current M2U Saver account since it's been more than 6 months from the time I open it and open saver-i account. After 1 months I open saver then came out the saver-i account package. Not sure if it is allowed or not. rclxub.gif

You should try to open the Saver-i, see it allow for both or not?

If not, then you can just close the Saver and apply Saver-i, since you have pass the rules & regulation.

Reason of choosing Saver-i is that due to less than 2k but still want to earn the interest? or any better benefit?

Added on December 28, 2012, 7:07 pmAnd I opened Saver account before seeing ronnie's post. Aargh.

If you can maintain above 2k, it makes no different right?
And If below 2k is 0.4%, normal saving is 0.3%, sounds not much different. Just I have no idea on the normal saving interest calculation.

I was charged for GST in my Amex (2 months later doh.gif )

15-Dec-12 15-Dec-12 SERVICE TAX - PRINCIPAL  $50.00

Then i saw another entry immediately after

15-Dec-12 15-Dec-12 PAID SERVICE TAX    $50.00

15 Dec is a Saturday weekend!! Got 7.5% cashback = RM3.75

I dont remember paying for GST for this card, so this has to be a rebate. So total gain is RM53.75 thumbup.gif

This plus the RM100 earlier for duno what reason, and the monthly RM50 cashback. My total cashback for this card alone is RM200!! rclxm9.gif

You can redeem the following vouchers at Maybankard Centre for less TP:
1. KFC RM30 voucher - 6,000TP instead of 7,000TP
2. McDonalds RM10 voucher - 2,000TP instead of 2,700TP
3. Carrefour RM110 Gift Card - 20,000TP only
4. AEON RM100 voucher - 20,000TP instead of 21,000TP

Other than going to Maybankard Centre, can we visit branch to redeem?

Or can we redeem on the web for voucher, then it will sent to our address?

Is quite limited choice now for Redeem On-The-Spot!
